At least here, you don't have a contract until there is an offer AND an acceptance. He never accepted it until the offer was withdrawn. Here in the US that would mean no contract existed, but in Italy, if Juve is involved, I am sure we will get the worst possible interpretation of events possible!
I am not going to debate moral aspect, but you should probably explain what legal rights of Dybala were violated. You could probably argue pre-contract obligations relevant to this case, but I would guess you know not merely enough to take this stance.
Mancio with the anti-Juve curse. https://football-italia.net/no-juventus-players-involved-for-italy-for-the-first-time-in-29-years/
"All Dybala is asking for is the €3M he is owed. The talks about suing for €50M are not true. Dybala actually doesn't want Juve mentioned in this case (the €3M) by his lawyers to not risk his relationship with the club and fans."- Tuttosport pic.twitter.com/mzyh0mPtyv— Juve Canal (@juve_canal) March 23, 2023
Clown world. Is UEFA really going to destroy 3 of the biggest clubs in the world for the sin of trying to pry club competitions from their greedy hands? Looks like it.
Now they are going after Roma and Lazio: https://football-italia.net/friedki...nder-investigation-in-new-capital-gain-cases/
After destroying Serie A he gets promoted to UEFA, where he's free from scrutiny like he is in Italy. Under Gravina... Decline in tv viewership Decline in attendance Decline in tv revenue Decline in Serie A reputation No improvements to stadiums Rampant racism (everywhere)
You are correct about all those points. I don't think however, it’s solely on the shoulders of Gravina. The Serie A has been in decline since Juventus was relegated the first time in 2006. There needs to be some type of revolutionary take over and I’m not exactly sure what that will be or look like but the league is no longer what it use to be. Aside from no Italian players starting, there are so many other things that are wrong with the Italian game. I think the Serie A is still one of the best in Europe but it’s not what it was 20 years ago. I know the game and tactical approaches have changed but when I watch games as opposed to when I did in the 90’s and 2000’’s, something is different.
This. We have gotten progressively worse in every aspect and the guy gets a promotion. I am basically losing interest in football because of this type of nonsense.
Maybe the MLS is far-fetched, but I'm as big a fan of a Superleague-type competition that has no ties to FIGC or UEFA as there is right now.
La Liga appears to be the only sensible league left. Maybe the French league. But Serie A is now a joke of a league.
Juventus are responsible for serie a becoming a second rate league. So much shady business Where's moggi these days???
I meant to post this a couple of days ago. Juve U-17 are playing in the Future Cup at the Ajax training center. They are the defending champions having won way back in 2019. The Cup has not been played because of the pandemic and is now starting up again. Ajax and Juventus played to a 0-0 tie this morning and both teams move on to the semifinals tomorrow. U-17 teams in the tournament play 60 minute matches. Juventus face FC Nordsjaelland and Ajax take on Anderlecht. Full matches will be on Dutch ESPN if you have an IPTV sub. Highlights from the two groups is on the Ajax YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@AFCAjax/videos
Juventus lost to Danish club FC Nordsjaelland 1-0 in the semis and then to Anderlecht 2-1 in the 3rd place match. There were several good young players for Juve but it's always hard to predict who from the U-17s will make it.
Looks like they really do want to destroy the club. Message? Mess with UEFA and you will find out. 🚨The Federal Prosecutor's Office has just notified Juventus of the closure of the investigation into the so-called 'salary, partnership and agent manoeuvre'. Chinè charges the Juve, among other things, with violating the principle of sporting loyalty (art. 4.1).[@Agenzia_Ansa]— Bianconeri Zone (@BianconeriZone) April 12, 2023
