So glad we bought a guy that took three years to figure out how to play.

    How cool.

I just looked it up and never realized how many of Japan's players play in Germany

Out of Japan's starters today, only 3 play in the J-League and 5 in the Bundesliga.

They also had 2 subs come in who play in Germany's top flight league.

    GK Shūichi Gonda Shimizu S-Pulse - J-League
Yuto Nagatomo FC Tokyo - J-League
    Maya Yoshida Schalke 04 –Bundesliga
    Ko Itakura Borussia Mönchengladbach –Bundesliga

Hiroki Sakai Urawa Red Diamonds - J-League
    Ao Tanaka Fortuna Düsseldorf –Bundesliga
    Wataru Endo VfB Stuttgart –Bundesliga

Takefusa Kubo Real Sociedad -La Liga
    Daichi Kamada Eintracht Frankfurt –Bundesliga
    Junya Ito Reims -Ligue 1
    Daizen Maeda Celtic -Scottish Premiership

    Substitutes:
    Takehiro Tomiyasu Arsenal -EPL
    Takumi Minamino Monaco -Ligue 1
Kaoru Mitoma Brighton & Hove Albion –EPL
    Ritsu Dōan Freiburg -Bundesliga,
    Takuma Asano VfL Bochum -Bundesliga

He's using this WC to club shop. As soon as the ink is dry on whatever contract he ends up signing, he's revert right back to the lazy nothing that he's always been.

I just pray that that contract won't be a renewal with Juventus. I don't know what I'll do if we prove to be that stupid.

    Stupid foul.

Going to be tough if Wales beats Iran.

If that happens and we lose to England, I smell a Biscotto coming on the final day.

I think you're right. Sadly, this has Juve renewal written all over it.

Arrivabene also resigned but will be in charge of the transition.

Ferrari getting rid of Binotto because Elkann was unhappy with him, now they call a special board meeting and everyone resigns?

    Elkann is cleaning house.

As I expected, I'm surprised he waited this long tbh. Wonder how long Allegri has left on the bench.

Maurizio Scanavino appointed general manager of Juventus with Maurizio Arrivabene delegated to manage the company's functions until the appointment of the club's new board of directors scheduled for Jan 18.

From what Fabiana DellaValle has written, the recent investigations from the Turin public prosecutions office were the straw that broke the camels back.

Yup. Nobody "decided" to resign. They had no choice.

The underlying question is this: is EXOR going to sell its share, and if so, to whom (or what)?

Improper accounting and player payments are being investigated by the state prosecutor. If true this is definitely not a good thing. We will need to see more details.

Considering its a financial issue, wouldn't worry about sporting consequences, but they will certainly take a huge hit in the coffers if found guilty.
