My ranking: CWC CCC MLS Cup Intercontinental Cup Leagues Cup Supporters Shield USOC Campeones Cup In general, I go by difficulty of winning it and what if anything comes with winning it (e.g. most of these include qualification for CCC, MLS Cup also a large cash prize and a bye into the LC round of 32). The higher the quality of opposing teams and the more stages that are required to advance and win, the more prestigious it is to me. Campeones Cup was easily last for me. The winner gets an insignificant cash prize and there's no spot in another competition earned by winning it. It's one game, played at home. For as much as people gripe about LC being a cash grab, the Campeones Cup is the definition of a manufactured cash grab. Take the names and circumstances off of them and tell me which is better: Tournament A requires at minimum advancing through five knockout rounds against MLS or Liga MX competition to win. The winner receives a $2M cash prize and a CCC berth directly into the round of 16. Tournament B requires winning a single home game against a Liga MX team. The winner receives a cash prize of under $400,000. Intercontinental Cup was the most difficult to rate. It doesn't earn anything extra for the winner (no qualification for CWC or future IC iterations), but it has the most exclusive requirement to qualify for it, and winning it requires beating a Brazilian or Argentinian giant and the European champion in succession.
Awesome field level view of Rossi's game winning goal. My best shot of the year so far. 📽️👀Mo Farsi slips a beautiful ball in to Diego Rossi who bags his second goal of the game and complete the comeback, securing a 3-2 win over Inter Miami. #Crew96 #goal #assist #celly #celebration #epic pic.twitter.com/Xflvnmt6Ne— Zach Zeltman (@ZZeltman) August 16, 2024
As far as hype videos go, this one got me sufficiently hyped. That flashback to last years Eastern Conference Final was *chefs kiss*
