I think it might be worth mentioning that cameras showed Cucho was still extremely pissed at JRR after the game, and stormed off the field. Looked like Nancy quickly tried to calm him before he had to leave it to go shake hands with Miamis staff. Hopefully this is one of those things that gets handled quickly in the locker room and nothing comes of it.

 

What a f'ing game to be at. This thread was a fantastic read, thanks to all those who participated for the late night enjoyment. Oh and gimme those two grouchy points, thank you very much. Have been on this forum since Matchnight closed and the first year I am participating. Beginners luck so far.

I saw a few conversations about those last two opportunities. Schulte asked Ramirez why he passed it back to Rossi, and he motioned like there was a decoy run that created space.

Maybe I didn't get a good look at it but JRR's shot looked like it forced a good save.

I feel like Jones got the short end of the stick in this game. He barely saw the ball. Why not switch Arfsten and Jones first to see if that works before subbing Jones out?

Major props to the Nordecke who brought it all night. They were loud anll night. After we tied it they were so ********ing loud and the whole place was joining every cheer.

I know it’s League Cup and it’s a BS tourney but that game was a joy to watch.

What a wonderful Wednesday morning.

 

I really questioned taking him off at half-time unless that as generally the plan from the beginning to help him integrate into the team. To get the hook that fast in your first start doesn't exactly build confidence. However, maybe all of that was pre-planned going into the game or at least a version of it.
