I’m here and ready to fight with anyone who still questions that this is the best Crew team of all time. How many times does this team have to absolutely bury the opponent under an avalanche of goals before you guys stop questioning what’s missing or what else they need? Come on now.
Let's all take a second to thank the New England Revolution And then let's take several minutes to laugh at them
Not willing to say it until we win some hardware but I understand why youd think that. It might be most talented but it cant be best unless it wins games that count.
Chambost had one very soon after entering his first Crew match vs. Aston Villa. Who had the quickest Jones or Chambost?
The difference is that unlike in prior years there are several other elite teams who are also loading up in the summer. Last year's run was one of the more difficult runs a team has made to MLS Cup. Thinking about those teams - Atlanta, Orlando, Cincinnati and LAFC - how do you think they compare to this year's other top contenders? Personally, with the additions that LAFC has made this window and what Miami has, I'd consider both of them better than any of the teams in the 2023 run. Cincinnati is as good if not better. The path to a Cup is not through teams of Crew past, it's through other loaded and elite teams. The Crew's summer window last year has led to an arms race where "best Crew team ever" isn't enough. I'd like to see another one to two difference makers: a #9 who's quicker and more mobile than Ramirez and a relentless #8 to replace Morris. I love Sean but I wouldn't call him relentless. More talent, especially top-end talent, is never a bad thing.
Sean had a really good second half. That whole left side really got going with Jones in. They respect him a lot more than Arfsten. I'm guessing Arfsten has a tell that neutralized him a bit. I'm really excited to see all the rotation. Crazy how the Crew, LAG, LAFC, Cincinnati, and Miami have 6 guys who would start on any front line. RSL has 4. And Charlotte has a neutralizing defense.
