Actually the current caretaker (he's not given the full time job yet) Emerse Fae was the CIV U21 coach and was hired after the group stages. That's more insane sacking a coach midway but it sure as hell paid off.
I watched a bunch of games as well. Cant believe how terrible African teams are at taking penalties. I lost count how many missed the goal completely or hit the woodwork. Also I think its ridiculous they hold this tournament every 2 years. Thats a heavy burden on European clubs. Should be every 4 years IMO
Hence why I want to drop signing players who have connections to Africa, since it means as Dutch clubs you're at a disadvantage to rich clubs as your bench of course isnot stocked with similar class players. 176776
Oh please. Stop posting about that bag of dirt. As a human being he's not worth paying any attention to and as a player he's not going to be selected for the Orange Squad, nor going to sign for a Dutch club and playing in a banned league. So basically he doesnot exist anymore for this forum.
watched milan vs Rennes. first taste of european football for matusiwa and it was not a favorable one. the 4-4-2 deployed by Rennes coach didn't favor him at all given he is more defensive minded and found it hard getting up and down simultaneously. often was just running trying to shut the gate down. did look good on ball / possession in couple of phase deep in midfield where he natural belongs otherwise was just running up and down and into spaces trying to provide a outlet but was often ignored. subbed around 71'. overall milan just was better team and took advantage of rennes tatically. reijnders started on the right side of the midfield. didnt have much impact either. few isolated interventions, shots here and there. slightly brighter in the second. this again shows he is not the man for the RCM in NT. at best he looks good when he plays on the left (frenkie's position)

Its still newsworthy. If you have a problem with my Promes posts take it up with a moderator, and if he thinks it breaks forum rules then I'm fine with him deleting it ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Promes made the mistake of going to Dubai for training camp. UAE has an extradition treaty with NL, so he might be extradited to face his criminal charges https://www.telegraaf.nl/nieuws/733...he-emiraten-over-mogelijke-uitlevering-promes
Regarding Promes, he will surely go to jail if he ever returns to The Netherlands. Maybe he stays in Russia forever, who knows? I think we have exhausted this topic and I would suggest no further postings on the player who made numerous bad decisions.

Withdraw from Super Lig and go where exactly?? https://www.reuters.com/sports/socc...-super-lig-after-players-attacked-2024-03-18/
Sure didn't see this coming. Xabi Alonso stated that he will stay at Leverkusen and not move to a big ticket club as manager. Good for him and football!!!
Announcement Breaking News! Jasper Cillessen saved a penalty kick. Not fooled by Luuk De Jong. What a celebration. NEC leads PSV 3-1
Starting to feel sorry for ETH a bit. United were beating Chelsea 3-2, and then Chelsea scored in 90+10 to tie, and another goal in 90+11 minute to win the game 4-3
