Everton get 10-point deduction. Now in last place https://www.marca.com/en/football/everton/2023/11/17/6557674e268e3eee348b4592.html
Just watched Girona match. They come from behind to win 2-1. Could they do a Leicester City?? I doubt it. They should probably focus on getting a CL spot. Still an amazing story though
Gakpo still on the bench, but Gravenberch starts https://www.flashscore.com/match/KrhcLLKE/#/match-summary/lineups
Amazing to think that Blind may be on a La Liga champion!! That will cement his p[lace on the Dutch NT
Koca needs to be banned from football for the next 10 years minimum, and maybe even for life https://www.ad.nl/buitenlands-voetb...-alle-voetbalcompetities-stilgelegd~a89fb396/

It turns out Girona are owned by the same group that owns ManCity and a bunch of other teams across the world. UEFA have an interesting rule that prohibits two teams owned by the same beneficial owner from competing in the same Euro competition. If Girona win La Liga and ManCity finish 2,3 or 4 in the EPL, Girona goes to the CL and ManCity drop down to the Europa League. Hope this comes to pass!!!!
That would be frikcing awesome!! And dont forget the English FA have still to rule on their finance irregularities. They could be relegated or docked points
there was discussion on another thread about whether Girona would be permitted to play in the CL along side ManCity. Obviously this is dependent on Gironal finishing in the top four of La Liga. I just checked and the club is not completely owned by City Football Group. They own just over 47% of the club thus, I don't think there is an ownership issue that would affect their participation. the bigger issue is that their arena only seats 14,000. I can't remember if UEFA have a minimum seating requirement for CL teams.
They almost can fit the whole city in it. Girona ( Catalan: [ʒiˈɾonə]; Spanish: Gerona [xeˈɾona] ⓘ) is a city in northern Catalonia (Spain) at the confluence of the Ter, Onyar, Galligants, and Güell rivers. The city had an official population of 103,369 in 2020 but, the population of the Girona- Salt urban area is estimated to be about 156,400 (2020).
