Watched Nice vs Toulouse. May have slipped under the radar but Toulouse picked up Thijs Dalinga in the transfer window from Excelsior. He scored some 30 + goals last season for them in eerste divisie. Scored the opener for Toulouse with a tap in from close range. The game ended in a draw. He looks like a striker who can be decsive if serviced well and on time. Had one shot come of the post after a nice through ball from the middle which put him into clear. First game to watch Branco van den Broomen who is the captain of Toulouse and also stijn spierings. Van den Boomen seems to be Veerman esque player, can open up the game with one pass or overhead balls. He actually assisted in dallinga's goal and was ever present on set pieces and corners. Spierings and Van den Boomen were both at the mid base .spierings was aggressive and looked good in breakdowns as well. Zakaraia Aboukhlal who they also picked up from AZ came late in the game. Still early stages, let's see how they do with the big boys For Nice both stengs and Rosario started. Stengs did have few good interventions but really looked flat atimes like berghuis. The only difference being he does goes outside and has decent right foot interventions when needed. Rosario started at DM and was pretty much occupied in breakdown areas. Was subbed of after receiving YC.
Nathan Ake- 7 Really starting to settle as a starting centre back for the Premier League champions which will have Stones and Laporte looking over their backs.
Unbelievable!! Barcelona have been unable to register their five summer signings with La Liga The club now face the prospect of having to leave new players in the stands Barcelona are £1.14billion in debt but have been Europe's biggest spenders Read more: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...a-MESS-register-new-signings-save-season.html
I have added Barca matches to the list of clubs that I am boycotting. This type of financing would lead to the sacking of any CEO who tried this in the business world. How they can run a club with that kind of balance sheet is just weird.
Ake is getting better all the time. Extremely athletic. I happen to believe that Stones and Laporte are both massively overrated. They’re also injured a lot too, but Ake is definitely more than capable of playing at a consistently high level. Could be the Starting Central left leg for Oranje as LVG calls it in the 3-5-2 or 5-3-2 alignment.
Yup. As a long time Ake disser (with reasons!!) I'm recognizing and acknowledging his growth the last two years. However, while having become very good he still isnot top quality.
It’s outrageous what is happening there. The treatment of Frenkie and Memphis just terrible. I would love to hear from Frenkie or his agents to get some facts about all of this stuff as the media has run wild with things. Bottom line is Frenkie cannot leave without what he is owed. His agents should be doing everything in their power to have him move immediately. Frenkie cannot truly be happy there with all of this going on. Would love to hear from other players at Barca to hear their thoughts on this too. If and when Memphis and Frenkie leave I’m hoping they come out with all of the truth. Barca for me cannot lose enough. Jordi Cruyff should speak up as a senior executive to give some facts to this situation.
They simply mortgaged the future revenues of tv rights etc. What players/national teams will be affected if the signed ones cannot play?
This from Friday's Jong Ajax match is worse!!! Kortsluiting bij Kik Pierie; hands en een penalty... 😳#rodjaj pic.twitter.com/q1I1jxZfVx— ESPN NL (@ESPNnl) August 12, 2022
Watched Toulouse game today. Dallinga didnt do much but he also didnt get much service. There are 3 Dutchies on that team now (Dallinga, vdBoomen and some guy named Spierings)
Watched Bayern vs Wolfsburg. Wanted to see Micky van de ven and offcourse the dutch contingent at Bayern. Van De ven has been starter at LB for Wolfburg but clearly looks like a CB material. Tall Lanky built with same degree of speed. Didn't do much in attack but tried closing down opponents when the ball was on his side. His passing over head and crosses were exceptional and you expect him at some stage to move inside at CB. Still 21 and given the minutes he is clocking as a starter, defintely is a future prospect for growing list of CBs I would say. Ryan Gravenberch came on late in the game.
Man United fans are planning a stadium walkout next week when they play Liverpool This is the time all Manchester United fans. Get the Glazers out Retweet the hell out of this #EmptyOldTrafford #GlazersOut #MUFC pic.twitter.com/qQ87fwHtGS— United 4Fans (@United4fans) August 13, 2022
Looks like ETH now wants Ronaldo out. If he's a cancer in the dressing room then its probably a good idea https://www.voetbalzone.nl/doc.asp?uid=407039
Now Barca are at war with Braithwaite. I dont know whats going on at that club, they used to be so well managed but not anymore https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...AR-Martin-Braithwaite-refusal-leave-club.html
