In case you didn't notice, the four semifinalists in the WWC had all played group matches in Columbus Crew Stadium. Just like the three countries that represented CONCACAF in last year's "other" World Cup had all played their qualifiers in Columbus Crew Stadium. We should be very appreciative of what we have here.
We are appreciative. I also want to say that I attended the match night where it was Germany v Canada and Japan v Argentina. Watching the Krauts that night, I am not surprised our women's team lost. Germany looked just absolutely solid. Their #10, by far, BPOF. We'll see how da ladies respond in the Olympics.
