I've seen us wear some pretty hideous jerseys in the past I think black would be a good change of pace.
I think that's it's a very very very very very very very very very remote possibility to ever see the USNT in any colors other than red, white, or blue.
Canada played in an all-black strip against us back in 97. They looked hideous. As did their play. That was the match during which Seamus "No, merlot will be fine" Malin criticized Earnie Stewart for sticking up for Claudio Reyna after a Canuck blasted the ball into Claudio's privates during a dead ball. I know that New Zealand's rugby team 'The All Blacks' use this color. I am not sure if the New Zealand soccer team does? I do not think that the US team will 'dress in black'!

I seem to recall they wanted to at the 1999 Confederations Cup, but FIFA put the kabosh on it. They did do it after one of their matches. Other New Zealand national team names include the "Tall Blacks" for their men's basketball team and "Black Caps" for their cricket national team. Anyone know others?
Not only wrong country, wrong sport. I tried to get DC United/New Zealand captain Ryan Nelsen to do the Haka, he said maybe later that night (he was on his way to some sort of players party, I think). God, I'd love to see that. NZ's Rugby team is "the All-Blacks" The soccer team is "the All-Whites" the soccer team traditionally played in an all black away kit until nike ********ed them over with a blue thing that looks like a bad version of the USA away jersey last spring.
