At least three good chances by Fire but no goal!

    Yeah,
We all know that but we don't have a microphone on the Apple TV broadcast to state the obvious.

Dean's had several mis-touches this evening. Guti outclassed Sergio Biscuits there which was pretty cool. Fire should be up 2-0. Makes me nervous still 0-0.

Both teams with decent chances. Fire have hit the post and had some wide open looks, and goal line scrambles. Miami had some chances too

Wyatt played great in the last game and Rafa seems to trust him more.
Herbers is a physicality call…MHS doesn’t bang enough in the midfield to disrupt the opponents

I hate to say Twellman is right but… well… he’s definitely not wrong. With a true DP9 Shaq is still a DP but I honestly don’t care because with a true DP9 we’d have a team that would be tough to beat assuming we got our defensive act together.

From my seats in the 400 level (sold my regular seat for the cost of a season ticket) I’d say maybe 50k ventured here but either way, nice atmosphere. Let’s hope for some goals for the good guys in the last 45.

Hazy pitch up from $13 to $16
Hot dog up from $6 to $8

    I bought 3 hotdogs, 2 sodas, and a pizza for the kids…$62

I started listening to Twellman, but have opted to listen to Dasan Robinson instead. Maybe Twellmen is interested in a FO job for the Fire. It is a bit weird that a former Rev is with the fans on getting a DP9, but there you go.

It would be nice if the Fire scored early in the second half. Too many chances wasted and it only takes one play to be down 1-0. Fortunately, Miami has been pretty limited with the Fire playing good defense.

    I’m torn…
It’s nice having a ‘full house’ for the game…
    BUT…
Half these people are not watching the game, my commute was 2.5x, I have to stand up every 2min for someone to come in our out of our row, and the prices are stoopid.
    We better F’n win!

The goal is for every game to be like this- VAMOS!!!!

Coming from Edison Park, it didn’t take long than usual driving but we did have to park in the Grant Park South lot. Was only $25 tho and a nice walk to stretch the legs before the game is always fun.

Half is generous. The stadium is packed with brand new never worn before Messi jerseys.

I barely got to enjoy my excitement from taking the lead. I guess I should just be happy Dean didn’t get a red.

“However, there is one major exception. The rule does make a specific exception for handball occurrences committed as long as a player's body position is "a consequence of, or justifiable by, the player’s body movement for that specific situation." Then a handball is not whistled.

This exception largely comes into play for a defensive player sliding to make a block. It is generally considered impossible to make a sliding movement without using an arm on the ground for support. Thus, the use of an arm for support while sliding is a "justifiable" action for that particular body movement, and therefore a ball which strikes a support arm would not be considered an "unnatural" position even if extended from the body.”

Kai has to come on for Herbers or one of the DMs so MHS can get to the right side. He has no defensive abilities when he is on the left side.
