I enjoyed the first half much more.

Morocco definitely a team who's better than the individual names might suggest.

Brazil don't really strike me as having an identity or identifiable team approach.

Brazil had chances to get all 3 points. Fair result tbh.

    i wasn't surprised.

Brasil haven't had the magic of their halcyon days for years now.

they don't excel at attack or defence, or anything else really and they lack the ability to raise their game a level or two.

very much what you see is what you get and somehow less than the sum of their parts

    Yessir every one so far.

Currently laughing at the Scottish trying to bully the Hatians physically, but too weak.

They are winning but it doesn't look like the Swiss vs Qatar or USA cs Paraguay.

agreed. i think the Scots have had a small wake up call.

this is not as easy as they might have thought

thoughts on Bouaddi from the earlier game?

The Scots did not think this would be even remotely easy. Fans, media or anyone else.

    Why do you think that?

the saddest thing for me at this World Cup is #9 Weghorst and #10 Depay. yet again...

don't care if they are ex-United players, we really couldn't produce anything better than this for the past decade? especially considering the rich attacking history of the past?

don't know why there has been such a drastic plummet in talent production but both the player pool and the coaching pool are stagnant. this is probably the 17th time Koeman is in charge. why would it work any better now than the previous 16?

and to make it worse the one guy they have that might have elite potential gets left at home

I know they're just one academy (but obviously historically a hugely successful one), but do you think a major drop off from Ajax's production line in recent years ties into it?

I'm not surprised. Ancelotti's tactical approach at Real was basically vibes-based. Tough to transfer that to international level

If they pass the unrealized tax, expect less investment in their clubs and soccer as richer benefactors escape.

Bouaddi is ace! I knew he was good on the ball, but his ball winning was promising as well. We had loosly been linked with him, and would love it.

Im fortunatel that i was able to put in a lot of work the last few months, allowing me to be flexible or create my schedule. At least for this past weekend. Well see how this week goes.

seeing him linked to Arsenal now. looks tidy though. probably a better bet than M. Fernandes in my estimation

Ive been asking everyone, why is Spain a favorite? Is it only because of Yamal? Most of the rest of their squad is underwhelming outside of Pedri.

I know this is just one game, but Ive felt this way since they released the squads.
