Saka down with a bloody (hopefully not broken) nose. Wonder if he'll have to come off? Unfortunately we don't have anyone on the bench to replace him, i.e. no Nelson. And AMN doesn't quite deputize. And in the time it took to write all of that... Saka is back on with a nose plug.
Auba gets his 2nd real chance of the game. Not exactly a slam-dunk. But this time it was a 1-v-1 and TBH I never really felt like he would prevail. That's the Auba of 20-21.
Mourinho's bus-parking, coiunter-attacking strategy is paying dividends. Just like it did for Ranieri's did for Leicester a few years? Blech, shudder the thought!
If you count Gabriel's goal against Wolves as being from a corner (I do), we've gone over two months without a goal from open play in the league.
Accrington Stanley might too, the way things are looking. I have no idea how this team won a trophy 4 months ago.
Wenger must be spinning in his grave at this Arsenal team. For all the times they were embarrassing, there were never ever this toothless. Unrecognisable. The fand have got their Arsenal back alright, the George Graham “boring boring Arsenal”— Shane old trip (@IsMiseShane) December 6, 2020
I'd like to see the xG chart. It wouldn't surprise me if it was close or if Arsenal won it. But sp*rs have played exactly the way they wanted to play while Arsenal are playing exactly the way sp*rs want them to.
44 crosses today. 9 reached their target. 656 league minutes without an open-play goal. 15th in the league. Worst start to a Premier League season in our history.
Why can't we be the scrappy underdog that plays good football. Gets hammered some weeks, puts up inspiring performances other weeks.

To Ireland. Which Arteta is immensely thankful for I bet. The pressure on him is mounting and mounting. p.s. Jose heaping loads and loads of praise on Mikel during his post-match interview is second only perhaps to the dreaded vote of confidence from management.
Where do we go from here? Arteta has hit bottom. Poor selection poor game plan poor subs...anything else? Emery sitting top ten with Villarreal and laughing at the gunners
