The One And Only Nike Vapor Thread

I've never heard of gold in Vapor I, I think The Gold Vapor's just came out in '04 if im not mistaken and there R9 which is Vapor II.

 

Yeah i know this, but look carefully at the picture. It is not a vapor II model, this is my point i have raised. Vapor II are not as shiny as this and most importantly there isn't a white line accross the boot, the lines you can see are those contained in the vapor I design, just look at the vapor II gold model and then you'll see why i am confused.

 

Yeah they came out in August this year. Maybe the image has just been touched up to make the boot look more attractive. Because no WAY are they THAT shiney. They are like a dull gold unless you are playing under floodlights.

But i can see where you are coming from. The shape of the boot does look more like vapor I the front of the boot is more rounded. But it has the patterns that are on the vapor II. Hmmmmm ....

thats a pic from the eurosport/soccer.com mail order company. its the chrome talaria and they photoshoped it to make it look gold in oder to show what black stitching for names and numbers would look like on gold boots.

i am guessing they were just being lazy and didnt feel like doing it on the real vapor 2's plus in the catalog the pic is very small you can't really tell its not the vapor unless you have a very keen eye and look for these things like we do around here at BS

 

Does these Vapors look real, some guy on E-Bay is selling them.

Those vapors are made in asia. I'm not sure if they are real but i have seen them on ebay before. I have also seen them on there in gold and red.

i'm about to order the white vapor ice. if i wear a sz 11 in da pulse will a 11.5 in da vapor be a good fit?? cuz i know nike's run small. i would try them on but no store has my sizes in stock right now. plus how wide does your foot have ta be ta fit in to the vapors. also do the indoor vapors fit like the outdoor verson ?? are the talaria sizing similar to the vapors. i need help asap.. thank's in advance.

 

They are pretty narrow boots. I would suggest you do try a pair on first before you order anything. I used to have 5.5 in the preds but i wear a 6 in vapors.

If you are spending that much money on a pair of boots you need to make sure that they fit you. The other thing i will say about the ice vapors is that they mark REALLY easily. They are a nice boot. But you tend to get 'scuff' marks on them that just wont come off.

What i have found that really helps the scuff is those sprayable cleaners for clothes. Take some if that and rub furiously on the boot and it got rid of most of my black scuffs i had, just couldnt do anything about the cuts in them LOL.

 

what is a sprayale cleaner, and where do u get some from, preferably off the net?

 

Hope this ain't patronising, but he means a cleaner that can be sprayed on and wiped off.

my nike vapours were terrible they gave me blisters everytime i wore them!!

 

Any that is supposed to be used to get out tough stains out of clothes before you put it in the washing machine will due.(You know the type you see of moms using on childrens grass stained jeans before they pop in the washing machine? LOL)

Yea mine was too, but its getting better and they feel real light and good beside the blisters.

 

i just got some gold vapors as an early christmas gift. i've never had them b4 but i really wanted to try them out this year.i got a 11.5 as i am a 11 in pulses. they feel great but i'm wondering if there is too much space at the front of the boot. i cant wiggle my toes up and down that much but i can curll them up. when you feel the front of the boot to check for space( foot in boot ) you cant push down but if you push from the front of the boot you can push in about this much / /. can some one plz help will the shoe stretch or just mold to my feet??

 

i have the blue vapors and i got them the same size that i had my manias in (9) and they were actually a bit too big...But anyways i haven't noticed much stretch if any at all with the vapors...they are made from that synthetic "nike skin" and not from leather so i guess they aren't supposed to stretch out too much.

 

well I actually got my vapors a .5 smaller than my pulses, and they pretty much fine (slight blistering on first wear) even tho. as a kid I always got told I had exceptionally wide feet! Mebe they sumhow thinned wid age, or mebe I got a freak pair of vapors as I seem to be one of the few peeps who found them large comparative to adidas!

 

Just got the new Eurosport and the Navy Blue and Orange Blaze Vapors are in there..they say "Available Early to Mid-January".

The new Talaria is a Flint color vapor..which look VERY NICE..i wish they put out the full Vapor in Flint..i'd buy them in a heartbeat.
