Makes you wonder why these people never realise they couldn't trust each other, doesn't it. It's obvious they're all thinking, 'I'll stab that fecker in the back to get ahead', without realising that's what the other guy's thinking about YOU.
Yeah, two of the most unscrupulous people in the country working together was always going to end with the smarter one ultimately having the last laugh.
That makes me think The Crown should have gone on to the end of her reign. Don’t know who would’ve played Boris Johnson, though.
John Prescott has died. How many current MPs would be able to do this? Feels like a lost art. 1791079690834198974 is not a valid tweet id

I like the way he adds that Andrea Jenkyns has just joined them. You'd think he'd want to keep quiet about that.
For all the fuss about the channel crossings, they only make up around 2-3% of the total immigration figures. The vast majority come to jobs or to study.
My old Tory MP was crowing on social media about how it was Tory policies that got immigration down from 900k to 700k. He didn't respond when asked if they also take the credit for getting the figures to that level in the first place.
Even for those people entirely relaxed by immigration that does seem quite a lot of people, doesn't it
It's why Sunak was very bad at politics. He choose to centralise an issue he couldn't control, that is of low significance. He'd be better to have create safe crossing options to take it out of the headlines so the far right couldn't use it with the added bonus that people wouldn't die.
Yeah, exactly. It's a complete non-issue. Obviously nobody wants people drowning in the channel but it's got sod-all to do with immigration as a 'problem' although it's important to remember that, over the years, the UK has had similar levels of immigration to other developed western countries... https://migrationobservatory.ox.ac....rnational-migration-flows-to-and-from-the-uk/ Although we now know some of those figures from last year weren't accurate.
Could be worse.. The person that Trump nominated to run the US's Food and Drug Administration believes that pasteurizing milk is part of the nanny state and wants to remove the FDA regulation prohibiting grocery stores from selling raw milk.
I'm reminded of some years ago when Chinese consumers cleared the shelves in Hong Kong of baby formula because the formula in China had adulturants. We will need to do the same to shelves in Canada, Europe and Mexico for food in general.
