    Samir Nasri alerts English suitors

It sounds like this young man is quite good. What is all this talk about Flamini? Did he leave OM on bad terms? How good was Flamini while at OM? I think he is quite good and have enjoyed seeing him play for Arsenal.

Marseille are really in trouble. They arent as good as Lyon, PSG, Monaco and even Toulouse right now. Their]s still time to sign some players but if the season started tommorrow they would not be a favorite to finish in the top 3. All the above mentioned teams have made better signings thjs offseason so far and OM also lost key players like Pedretti and Costa and replaced them with Oruma and Ribery but thats not improving your team thats like starting over again. I mean Niang and Lyunindula as your starting striking duo ? Thats not that great for a club of their stature.

Yeah Flamini left on bad terms, that's an understatement. I think OM and Arsenal are still in litigation over his case. He left OM after coming through the youth system and before he signed his first professional contract. This is the cause of the conflict. OM feels that they deserve some compensation being that they "formed" him and he left for no transfer money. He was pretty solid the one season that he played in Marseille first team. Not spectacular, but a hard working defensive holding mid.

Nasri has a lot of potential. A real #10 type. Still very young though, I think 17 years old. Hope OM can keep him a while.

That is a great way to describe his style of play....solid, not bad or brilliant and just relentless.

I hope AFC doesn't get punished like AS Roma did for the Mexes move.

Marseille could be set for a double swoop on the Portuguese market.

OM are quite active this offseason in the transfer market, let's see if it is all for naught.

Andre Luis Garcia lent for one year to OM
Benfica Bresilian defensor ANdre Luis Garcia is lent for one season to OM. Presentation of a big deal for opponents.

In 2001-2002, Andre Luis Moreira used to play with Olympique Marseilles before joining PSG. Today Andre Luis Garcia is lent for a season with an option by Benfica to OM. He will play with the number two on his shirt.

«He has the typical defensor profile according to his coach Jean Fernandez : he is good in one to one and in the head game. He is charismatic and technical also. He used to « play », with Benfica last year but he only played one match. « As for Fernandez he is not physically ready He stopped for one month and didn’t play last year. It always takes more time for big players like him to get ready.

This huge central defensor (86kgs for 1m92) is recommanded by the legendary Carlos Mozer, player of Santos, the winner team of the Bresil Cup in 2002 and 2004. A team composed of gifted players like Diego, Robinho or Alex, who used to play with Eindhoven and who was one of the two highlights with Andre Luis in the sicilian team.

International auriverde two times, his coming to Lisbonne to remplace Tito leaving for Italy. Finnaly he stayed at Luz, Andre Luis can remplace his compatriot on the ground. Today he comes to OM for a one season lending

I still cant understand why we went after Lamouchi. I enjoyed watching him at Auxerre, but that was ten years ago!

He is the best that we could do to replace Pedretti. Honestly, we need him, even if he isn't so young.

Now that both Pedretti and Costa went away, Marseille need central midfielders.. Lamouchi was an inevitable signing. Besides, he was in good form last season with Genoa.

Hopefully we can get Ljuboja now, cuz I think Diouf said it was either Balde or Ljuboja.

We need a defender so badly rather than a striker. Aslo if we need a striker, I don't think that Ljuboja would be a good choice.

i think OM is finally going to see the light at the end of the tunnel. they made some bad recruitments last year, lizarazu, pedretti, luyindula, but now that they've managed to offload them all, along with deadwood like marlet, eduardo costa and bamago, things will look up.

After we play Lyon we'll probably be at three losses and no goals...
