today i popped by the manchester united threads...

anyway i was looking for info that might hint as to whether ronaldo would grace portugal with his skills at athens. i found a post that said ferguson said he wouldnt be on the US tour with his team. b/c he had been playing alot recently.

this might mean the same fgor the olympics but i doubt it being that he would have had a month+ to "recooperate". my only point is that we may have to do without our talented little attacker for athens.

sad, i know. he is an essential part of our team. :(

Well it could be better ,but the coach knows better ,Quaresma didnt get picked because hes clearly not in shape yet,he just came back from an injury.
The one player that im tottaly against is FRECHAUT ,what the heck is he doing on that team?Stupid to say the least.

Ronaldo is there ,wich is good ,Boa Morte is also there.and a good central defender MEIRA.

Oh well,we shall see what our boys do.
I would of felt much better with a good right defender.Migule for instance.

    I wouldn't go that far.

keep in mind...many of our young players have played alot this year. The under 21 team was involved in many competitions.

This is a strong team, and considering our first round draw, we should easily make the second round.

    Then anything goes.

beside leaving Quaresma out, I like the three players over 23, Frechaut, Meira and Boa Morte, the last two could easily been on the A team, could be Quaresma still not 100 percent
