We are getting hosed once again. Why are we selling young CBs for peanuts when we have geriatrics playing there now?
Everyone is hyping the Romero to Tottenham deal, but my reaction is so what? It's Tottenham. What have they ever accomplished? They're known for not winning anything. But it's the EPL so everything is overblown. Also, Demiral. It's pretty clear that this team didn't have much faith in him and he didn't do a ton to really win me over that he should be a regular. He made some really dumb mistakes (so does Bonucci, I know) and whined too much about playing time especially when he was laid off due to injury. Oh and he was injured too often as well. I don't mind
Romero looks a lot better than the Turk. he played really well for the Argies. HE is the one we should have kept and now we gave him to Atalanta and they cash out big. This is happening far to often for us since Bepe left.

AUGUST 31 Moise Kean moves from Everton on a two-year loan, set to expire on June 30, 2023. The loan is set at €7 million ($8,290,100 US) with €3 million ($3,552,900 US) payable in 2021/22 and €4 million ($4,737,200 US) payable in 2022/2023. If certain sporting obligations are met there is an obligation to buy added to the loan for €28 million ($33,160,400 US), payable over three years. A further €3 million ($3,552,900 US) in bonus fees can occur if certain financial obligations are met. https://www.juventus.com/images/image/upload/dev/wott1xq6tx1r1p70y7wq.pdf

He signed a contract until June 30, 2025. https://www.juventus.com/en/news/articles/official-mohamed-ihattaren-is-a-juventus-player Mohammaed Ihattaren moves Sampdoria on loan. I don't think we got fleeced. We took a bit of a write down on his depreciated value but we also got his 30+ million NET salary (for 2 years) off the books which frees up close to 45-50 million this year and closer to 75-80 million over the next 2 years going forward. Where we did get hit is that it happened with only a couple of days left in the window, and we did not have the opportunity to significantly strengthen the squad in the amount of time left.
The fact that he is gone is more important than whether we got fleeced. I don't care how many goals he has scored, he was an anchor on this side of late given his attitude and his inability to adapt to other styles the managers want to try.
Especially considering they just paid 90m for Jadon Sancho and like 30 for Varane. I blame Ronaldo though for the timing and the fact that it was stated he would never play for us again. this put us in a bad situation.
JANUARY 28 Dusan Vlahovic moves from Fiorentina for a fee of €70 million ($78,075,200 US), payable over three years. A further €10 million ($11,153,600 US) in bonus fees can occur if certain sporting obligations are met. A further €11 million ($12,268,960 US) is payable through solidarity contributions. https://www.juventus.com/images/image/upload/dev/rbyns9djqekerapuzioe.pdf The solidarity payments is for U-23 players, bonuses and payment structure are standard for pretty much every transfer these days. Juve's press statements are so detailed because they're a publicly traded company so they have to be.
