Blondes are not really my thing, but I sure as hell am not complaining.

After all, we signed Dani Alves a couple of seasons ago. That was enough ugly to last a last a lifetime.

AGREEMENT WITH AJAX FOR THE DEFINITIVE ACQUISITION OF THE PLAYER MATTHIJS DE LIGT

Turin, 18 July 2019 - Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announces that the agreement with Amsterdamsche Football Club Ajax NV for the definitive acquisition of the registration rights of the player Matthijs de Ligt has been reached for a consideration of € 75 million, payable in five financial years, and additional costs of € 10,5 million.

Juventus and the player have signed a 5-year contract of employment until 30 June 2024.

That extra 10.5 is for Raiola by the way

No Buyback, just a right to match any offer - IF Everton decides to sell.

Kean is not staying at Everton for the rest of his career.

The problem is if Kean does blow up its going to be hard to match the big boys in a transfer fee, not to mention I highly doubt he'd want to return

That's a good amount less than the reported 40m...Well, I still wish nothing but the best for him. Maybe this story between us isn't finished.

He is a Railola client. He will hop around from one club to another making his agent rich but doing little for his career.

They most definitely did as Cancelo can fit in better in the PL and Pep's system than Danilo did

Cancelo is nothing more than a show pony. He can only be played as a winger. A fullback he clearly is not. He will not elevate City to the CL title.

Who said that he would? He is an upgrade for them and Danilo is a downgrade for us, that is what is being discussed, not if he would win them the CL or not

If that's all the difference between the two you think there is, then you've just demonstrated that you haven't watched Danilo. Like, at all.

I will be honest and state that I have seen little of him. But I can say that Cancelo did little to impress me. He was not a fullback and did not fulfill the role. So I do not see a big loss with Cancelo. I am not expecting Danilo to fill a void left by Cancelo. That said, we still have problems on both flanks in that position.

Well Danilo is no better defensively and he's much worse going forward, that's all you need to know really. But don't worry, we get to see it first hand very soon

    Whats Danilo salary?
5yrs is a long ass time. Tradition of keeping at least 1 bum on the roster, this is guaranteed now for 5yrs. By year 3 we will beg people to take him on loan and we'll pay half salary. Hope i eat my words and he proves me wrong

We have a couple of weeks to buy a couple of real FBs or we are in trouble.

I'll agree to any extent you want to argue he was a shit defender. That said, I don't understand how anyone can think he wasn't impressive going forward. He created a number of opportunities and goals for us--and for a team like City that will have anywhere between 60-70 percent possession of the ball, I can't understand how you can argue that having a wingback who is excellent on the ball isn't an upgrade, especially where he is replacing an inferior player.

Face it. We got hosed, if by design (to offset costs) or by accident (because management made a bad deal). When of the four fullbacks you have the most reliable is Alex Sandro, you have a problem.
