Thomas Schaaf was happy with the team, especially with the midfield and Leon Andreassen was quite impressed, cause at the test were more spectators than last year in Arhus at matches in the Danish league. But i agree, most important in the testmatches is, that the new players learn to play at Werder and Schaaf can test some tactical things, result isn´t so much important, but it gives the strikers self-confidence.

To your information the average league attendance in Aarhus was 10,317 last season (the absolute lowest being 6,677) .

Vranjes was happy too.
Yes, you´r right, but Andreasen said: „Das ist kein Vergleich mit Dänemark. Das hier war ein Testspiel und hier sind so viele Leute. In Aarhus war bei den Ligaspielen nicht so viel los.“ Means: "This is not comparable with Denmark. It was a testmatch and so many people are here. In Arhus there wasn´t so at the matches." (Perhaps he also meant the enthusiasm of the fans and not the attendance, cause the players had to give many signing to the fans and it took a long time. Don´t know.) Perhaps he wanted to say something nice for the new club. Anyways, he made a good game and that´s the most important thing.

(The main reason the club have been able to attract good player, since the club has been at the bottom of the league the past 7 seasons)... So no offence, but I very much doubt that you would find more enthusiasm at a training game in Germany... Leon Andreasen dont understand German very well, so it could be some misunderstanding... It could be that he's comparing this match with a Superliga away match in Herfølge this season were ther were less than 2,000 ppl... .
Possible, i just citate the article from an article about it. Probably he meant something else. No offense, mate.
I just read that Werders next opponent will be Kreisklasse C (!) team SC Niederkassel. Niederkassel got this opportunity by winning a BetandWin-Lottery. Niederkassel is not very optimistic since Werder just beat a Landesliga team 16-1 but they want to stay under 20 goals anyway. Niederkassel - Bremen

Here some pictures from trainingscamp: Strandlauf (at the beach) Boro and Miro Pasanen-Zidan kung-fu? - Banecki and Jensen Schaaf tells Jelle, how to play football Brilliant save by Wiese Zidan needs a break Whole team action Micoud and Reinke jump like kangoroos Schaaf in the wilderness

I feel good about this season, well I think its going to go REALLY well or very...not well. But im sure itll be the former

SV Meppen. Boy. At one time they were a perennial 2. Liga "mid-table contender". I hope they make it back.......
Yes, the Van Damme injury problem. But it shouldn´t be so bad, Werder medical stuff thinks, he can restart training in some days and there is also Christian Schulz, who is also no bad left defender, so no reason to worry.
Allofs wants Naldo to give a clear commitment to Werder The transfer lawsuit is finished: Werder would have to pay 2.55 mio € to EC Juventud: "Now it´s Naldo´s turn, he must say, he definetly wants to join us", Allofs says, "i want a decission within 2 or 3 days." Werder general manager Allofs makes so much pressure, because Werder´ll wants him to go with the team to the second season preparation camp in Austria.
Fran-Böhmert-Street The street between Osterdeich and the stadium pool past the Weserstadion is named after Werder´s former president, who died last December.
