Hello,

I would like to know some more about the national leageu of Haiti. I am from Holland (support AFC Ajax), and my girlfriend is Haitian. We are planning to visit Haiti to see some family overthere. I would like to find someone who knows about Haitian football leageu. Seems that Haiti is one of the few Footballnations instead of Baseballnations in Caribbean islands. Can anyone update me if there is currently a leageu going on in Haiti, what teams and who is on top. And maybe someone who has been there can tell me what it is like to experience a match overthere.
Myself I am not Haitian, but Dutch so for me I think it might be a little too risky next few years.

The Haitian National Team will be fielding a full strength squad as it prepares for it's World Cup Qualifiers. The Galleons will be announcing a new signing for their club and also a few special guest players as the Galleons look to take on the world.

More information will be announced next week, including the confirmed kick off time and starting line-up's.

 

June 8th Haiti Vs Honduras in La ceiba Honduras

 

Those boys are back at it again.......

Haiti defeated hosts Cuba 3-0 last night in La Habana to clinch Group A of the Caribbean qualifiers for the 2009 CONCACAF Under-20 Championship. The Haitians won their first group match against island neighbors Dominican Republic, 1-0. Then they dismantled the Bahamas 5-0 before taking down Cuba and finishing with the maximum 9 points to win the group.

 

Haiti did not have all of their players. Many injuries, many players still playing in their league...it was more of an experimental team. Final result: 4-0 for Haiti.
