Former Austin FC academy player Cole Coughlin recently signed a pro contract with Kilmarnock. He seems to have been appearing for the U19s and second team, though he may have made a first-team matchday squad as well.

Seems to be an '08. He's Insta-American, among other things.

One of the guys associated with this IG account seems to be an American who is or recently was at lower-division Italian club Policoro.

I've found a number of articles and other links in which he's called American, but none where he or someone else actually directly says it (as opposed to it just being in the story but without attribution). It's probably safe to roll with, but I'm still poking around.

In the meantime, he's moved to Cesena, where he 1) is teammates with Jonathan Klinsmann and 2) is there through 2028.

His move to Paderborn is official. Nothing the club has published that I could easily find suggested that he's American. Of course, he might be, and if he is German AND has two other nationalities it figures that one or both of those might not be mentioned unless, I suppose, he wanted it to be. Born in Germany, per the club.

Romanian club Cluj welcomed Jayden Rus midyear 2025. He clearly has spent years in the U.S. and I'm guessing he's American based on circumstantial evidence, but having not exactly pinned it down, leaving it here for now. Seems to have spent some time in RYNTs.

Adam Delplace has another 1st team call-up:

Racing Club de Lens on X: "Le lensois pour #OMRCL ⚫️ Voici les 2⃣1⃣ sang et or convoqués par Pierre Sage pour le déplacement sur la pelouse de l'@OM_Officiel en @Ligue1. Première pour Mathieu Gorgelin Odsonne Édouard, Nidal Celik et Anthony Bermont sont de retour #FiersDEtreLensois https://t.co/77WU51U02x" / X

Has a Ligue 1 profile, but no info on being a Yank:

I miss things all the time, but I've never been able to confirm Delplace's birthplace outside of the database sites. With that said, those sites often mention a pretty specific location (Anderson, Ind.), which is usually a promising sign--unless, of course, the location is Reading.

Anderson used to be a one-company town (General Motors and later Delphi Parts). I did find a "Delplace" on LinkedIn who worked for Delphi, but not obviously in the US and the dates didn't line up. I think there are some crumbs in that line of questioning.
