Is he this guy? Or related to this guy? https://www.bigsoccer.com/threads/shion-niwa-in-japan.2042522/
Did we (or anyone) ever pin down that Han Wilhoft-King was American? I had kinda forgotten about him for a bit, but it does look like his move to Manchester City happened. https://www.mancity.com/players/han-willhoft-king This article says he picked MCFC over UCLA. https://www.tottenhamhotspurnews.com/transfers/manchester-city-hijack-us-transfer-for-tottenham-gem/
This site says a player named Jamil Bamba Fall at a French lower-division club was born in Cincinnati: https://globalsportsarchive.com/people/soccer/bamba-fall/8009679/ The French fed seems to confirm his presence at that club: https://www.fff.fr/competition/match/28270689-c-chartres-football-u-s-chateauneuf-s-loire.html I think a player having a profile on a site like this can be an indication of an American connection, but obviously it doesn't clearly state that there is one. https://www.fieldlevel.com/app/profile/jamil.bambafall/soccermen

A German journalist says 15 year old Max Gordon is German/American/English/Dutch and is drawing interest from Ajax & Arsenal: Dominik Schneider on X: " Excl. #Ajax & #Arsenal are interested in signing Max #Gordon (#FCKaiserslautern / 2010). Meetings with academy director Per #Mertesacker — #AFC plan to sign him when he turns 16 in Jan 2026. The Gordon thing has been out there for a bit. I don't have any reason to doubt it, but figured I'd just throw in that 1) the club, which generally has a very helpful web site for our purposes, doesn't do player profiles below U16 level, which for Max would I guess be next season and 2) Max doesn't have any nationality info on his IG. You're welcome!
I'll look more into this later, but based on various reports and database sites and social media posts, an American-born former FC Cincinnati '06 named Kiano Casamalhuapa, who sometimes goes as Kiano Falcao, and who has played for Salvadoran YNTs, has moved to the setup of Huila in Colombia, evidently from Europe. Probably that didn't need to be one long sentence but let's roll with it.
USMNTProspects @ProspectsUsmnt Liam Hamilton Grenade ('09) is a US-eligible player in the Hvidovre IF academy in Denmark. Hvidovre was relegated last season into the second division. They will probably stay there for next season. LHG joined the academy this season from Nordsjaelland. He's a CB. HT: @natsuovz Article about him going to FC Nordsjælland at age 11: LEDØJE-SMØRUM FOOTBALL
He just signed in the USL. The announcement doesn't suggest an American connection (apart from his past time playing here) so I'm guessing, pending further information, that he's what we in this business call "Collegiate-American." https://www.greenvilletriumph.com/n...o-veteran-toby-sims-joins-the-triumph-roster/
Both these players are listed as having secondary American citizenship on Transfermarkt. However, I was not able to find any additional information on how the are eligible. Breki Freyr Agustsson who plays for Breidablik in Iceland. Agustsson is listed as an Icelandic/US double citizen on Transfermarkt. He was born June 11, 2007 and is classified as an attacking midfielder. Agustsson played 79 minutes during 3 appearances in the 2025 Icelandic League Cup. He has also been an unused sub twice so far during the 2025 league campaign. Breidablik qualified for the first qualifying round of the 2025/2026 Champions League. Link to his Transfermarkt profile: https://www.transfermarkt.us/breki-freyr-agustsson/profil/spieler/1373511 Skander Tahiri who plays for FK Partizani in Albania. Tahiri is listed as an Albanian/US double citizen on Transfermarkt. He is a goalkeeper that was born on January 3, 2005. Albania decides their league champion through a four team playoff, and Tahiri made his first team debut earlier this month in the third place game. FK Partizani qualified for the first qualifying round of the 2025/2026 Conference League. Link to his Transfermarkt profile: https://www.transfermarkt.us/skander-tahiri/profil/spieler/1109255
wassup with deron payne? is he usmnt -eligible? https://www.transfermarkt.com/deron-payne/profil/spieler/790411
Probably not. *May* hold US citizen if his father naturalized, but doesn't meet the requirements: ART. 6 NATIONALITY ENTITLING PLAYERS TO REPRESENT MORE THAN ONE ASSOCIATION 1. A player, who, under the terms of art. 5, is eligible to represent more than one association on account of his nationality, may play in an international match for one of these associations only if, in addition to holding the relevant nationality, he fulfils at least one of the following conditions: a) He was born on the territory of the relevant association; b) His biological mother or biological father was born on the territory of the relevant association; c) His grandmother or grandfather was born on the territory of the relevant association; d) He has lived on the territory of the relevant association for at least five years.
Think you're correct. Unlike Desevio, he wasnot born in the USA and neither his Dutch mother and his Trinidad father were.
I think it was determined that at least one of his parents naturalized. Of course, his eligibility (and that of the third brother, Devyn) is another matter. I would love a redemption arc for the Payne clan after Desevio's injury issues knocked him off track!
TM lists an '05 GK named Skander Tahri as Albanian-American. https://www.transfermarkt.us/skander-tahiri/profil/spieler/1109255 He is at the club: https://partizani.al/sq/player/skander-tahri/ What appears to be his IG has him as "Skender." There are search results out there for that name, too. https://www.instagram.com/skendertahri/
