Pretty sure all of those guys have threads or at least have been discussed here with the exception of Wells. Solis I've posted about myself -- he looks like he's the son of an ex-Costa Rican MLSer. Rodriguez appears to be a "false positive."

Coincidentally just yesterday a friend of mine told me stories how he was coaching 4-5 yo Farfan twins in rec league. They were scoring at will dribbling the whole team, so parents from opposing team were screaming at him demanding to sub "the kid" out while he was trying to explain that he just did that and this isn't "the kid" but his twin brother.

yeah all have been accounted for although still no mention if Christopher Scott really is German American?

as for Toljan, I would guess the author assumes since he's German American it means he's eligible by default not knowing that his case seems more complex than the rest.

For you compulsive YA-Googlers* out there, a population I assume 1) exists and 2) doesn't include only me, I'd suggest this for your occasional FuPa searches -- try something like:

    staaten 1998 site:https://www.fupa.net/spieler/
Then just swap the birth year and do another search when you're ready.

    * Also, don't confuse "YA-Googlers" with "eugooglizers."

Was this guy ever resolved as a YA? I know he has American roots - born in Florida, but he has also appeared for Peru U20's - Don't know if that would require a one-time switch (at U20 level)

If he was born in Florida, then I suppose it's resolved enough to give the young man a thread. Whether he'd require a switch to play for the U.S. would depend on whether he appeared in an official (FIFA/CONMEBOL) competition or just a friendly.

Anyone able to find more information on Klaus Pallan of Barrington, Illinois?

He is mentioned in this Chicago Tribune article, but there's not a lot of info on him.

    http://www.chicagotribune.com/90min...he-new-pulisic-in-chicago-20180103-story.html

Others like Michael Waclaw and Klaus Pallan attended recent “Showcases” that were organized by the Golden Goal agency, and received invitations from English clubs to train in Europe at the end of last year with all expenses paid. Both could return during the winter months for a new round of tryouts.

According to Pallan, a 17-year-old forward who goes to school at Barrington High School, plays for Illinois club FC United, and could return soon to training in England, the European experience was very special from a cultural standpoint.

“It’s a very different environment, but I felt like I could play there. There’s a great soccer culture. Where we went, at a restaurant or any other place, everyone was talking about soccer or playing soccer. It’s very different. I like being here (in the United States), but I would like to live and play there,” said Pallan, who also trained with West Bromwich and Queens Park Rangers.

I do find some articles about his high school play, but nothing shows up for him at FC United, even though they are USSDA and have player lists available there.

Nothing I can find seems to so much as hint that he wouldn't be American, but who knows...

By the way, for those of you who occasionally mess around with Transfermarkt's advanced search, I've always wondered what's the best way to find players who don't have birth years listed. There are several ways to do it, but I'm finding that a search where you put a country in the "Active for a club from" field is a good start, leaving the rest blank.

He is at Trento, was on the bench today. It seems that he has been in their squad 7 times this season and subbed in 3 times.....also they have his name as Slavin Peter Matin

It occurred to me that if you already use Google site search to hit the ligamx database (which is really useful) that, instead of:

    ficha jugador "estados unidos" site:http://ligamx.net/cancha/jugador/

... and adding a YOB (which I recommend, to filter results) you may be able to filter even further by adding "mexicano" because that will remove results the database has in the system of U.S.-based players with American birthplaces (because players who are sufficiently young are registered as Mexicans).

Confusing, maybe, and maybe not perfect, but helpful. So, try:

ficha jugador "estados unidos" mexicano site:http://ligamx.net/cancha/jugador/

... and a birth year. Tell me if that helps. Good luck!

interesting, didn't realize that Jeremiah Kasteleiner left Karlsruher U17 on the last day of the transfer window, Jan 31 2018 to join Wehen U17.

doesn't seem to have played any games for Wehen U17 although seems like he made the bench on the last matchday for Wehen U19., who ended up being relegated from the U19 Sud/Sudwest.

So left one German-American in Ian to join another in Giona Leibold.

Transfermarkt says Irish YNTer Oisin McEntee, an '01, is American-born. I haven't been able to pin this down despite a modicum of effort. It looks like his father may have played on some barnstorming teams in the U.S. back in the day, but that was years before Oisin's birth. Who knows, maybe he met an American girl, raised on promises, during one of those trips.

I've seen him listed as at or connected to a number of clubs, the most prominent of those being Newcastle, and it does seem that he was with their U18s for at least some of this past season.
