This is your one stop shop for all excuses.

Don't ruin every thread - just this one.

I'll start it off retroactively - I can't be at the opener on the 19th - I'm out of town

    thanks.

Visiting the in-laws in Tarrytown NY this weekend, so no game

But we are planning an epic September trip to Sicily - a week near Palermo and a week near Siracusa

I might be missing a shitload of viewing parties and games.

I definitely will be at the May 4th match though, maybe.

Oooo, I've always wanted to post in one of these. I'll be in New Orleans for a wedding during the Gals game.

Of course, no one knows who I am, so this is even less helpful than most "I won't be there posts." But I can cross it off my to-do list.

its not often i make good decisions so i'd like to reinforce this one.

scored a late game winner in a 3-2 win while united apparently lost 3-2.

and i didnt have to enter the state of maryland so everybody wins.

I do question the decision to quote your own post. Seems a little Trumpish.

No way San Jose. I won't be at the game. I will be at the beach where it will be 96 degrees in the shade.

In Italy for the Whitecaps game, it may be worth it the exchange

I should be able to see my AC Pisa 1909 playing in the Coppa Italia!

maybe if we all miss the game, they will win.

i'm willing to try that strategy if everybody else is down

How about one of those good college football Saturday's? Hang by the river and watch a little ball, do a little grillin', some fishin'....you know, actually have a good time at RFK.

That's a really good plan. The only possible problem I can see is that by the part of the season, De Rosario might be scoring 5 goals a game in hopes of getting back to the playoffs. After having great post-season success, he hasn't be there in awhile either.
