After we lived in majority LDS country for six years my wife always opined that if she wanted to scam people that particular group would be easy pickings...

Preston Judd has started the 2026 MLS season with a remarkable six goals in 10 appearances.

Too bad he has not yet been included in recent USMNT roster projections.

I’ve watched Christian Pulisic closely and he has been dead for AC Milan since his last appearance for the national team.

I’m sure he will be picked but Pochettino should pick some in form MLS players as well,

One reason multi-level-marketing schemes are popular in the Mormon community.

Boy - you aren't lying! I can't tell you how many times we received an invite to go to friends' houses only to be "treated" to a high-pressure MLM pitch...

According to a recent docu and podcasts, Mormons in Utah are very much into reality shows and youtube channels that show Mormon trad wives making big money as influencers. Apparently in The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, these women practice soft-swapping, where you do heavy petting with other women's husbands. The docu I watched told the story of a young successful youtuber wife who ended up torturing and starving her 2 youngest children under the guidance of a female Mormon therapist who specialized in counseling troubled Mormon marriages.

Am I taking crazy pills? Putting a ball under your shirt and sucking your thumb is a celebration, specifically if there is a baby on the way. It's not "pretending to be pregnant" really, it's a way to let everyone know you're expecting. I know ARob did it at Fulham when he was expecting a kid, for example. Pretty sure Sargent did so as well at Norwich.

I don't think Judd is equivalent to Pulisic in any way at all. Different positions, completely different styles of player.

Judd is losing out to Pepi, Balogun, and Haji Wright, and deservedly so. If he keeps up a torrid scoring pace, maybe he can get a Camp Cupcake or fill in when we have a striker injury in a camp, but at the moment, he's got to do a lot more to earn a USMNT callup.

Yeah, that's a bit of a humorous comparison on multiple levels :).

No one is comparing Judd to Christian Pulisic.

I am just saying Judd and his hot streak merit a call up as he has been in form.

On the other hand, we all know Christian Pulisic is going to be a starter but he slumping and it’s happening at the wrong time.

His coach Max Allegri is saying he is sensitive and can’t take the fact that he has been going through a slump.

I hope he snaps out of it in time for the WC.

No, he doesn't deserve to be on the WC team because of his hot streak.

Yes, Pulisic is still an infinitely better player than Judd and is going to be part of our World Cup team. Sorry if that hurts you, and frankly it doesn't matter that he's in a slump, he hasn't been out-competed at the Winger spot such that we'd start someone ahead of him. Likely. Maybe it happens, but it hasn't.

If you don't want to talk about Christian Pulisic, stop talking about him. Otherwise I'm going to respond to your whole post every time. And when you say two things, I assume you see them as linked. If you don't, why the hell are you mentioning Christian Pulisic in a Preston Judd thread?

judd is doing well this season because he is trying so hard. But that doesn't mean he is good enough to beat out all the other forwards already on the USMNT call up sheet. He really doesn't have any special talents other than he holds up and feeds off the ball pretty well -- he's not speedy, doesn't hit a lot of headers, doesn't have a high finishing percentage... Really, he is so much like Lenny in so many ways. He's becoming a good forward, but he's not USMNT material today.

Actually I think Judd is pretty speedy. It's one of his attributes. He pressing pace is as fast as anyone's, and it's one of the keys to our success this season. But yeah, he probably falls short of USMNT material. but he can be a good MLS forward regardless.

Judd might be good as a situational callup for the national team, especially against defenders prone to either making errors in build-up play or losing their temper. In MLS I think opponents are less inclined to react adversely to his antics simply because he is widely known, but an unwitting international opponent may not have gotten the memo.

It would be like Allen Gordon getting a callup.

The same Alan Gordon who helped save the US @ Antigua and Barduda in WCQ semi-final round in the 2014 Cycle?

Judd would have to score 20+ goals to get a callup, or he could replace an injured player, and if he does that, good for him, that's awesome. If he scores/assists a crucial goal in a competitive game, even better! I'm a fan and proud of whoever gets the opportunity to wear the US jersey, whether it's one game or 100.

Is he going to be drawing blood? Like stabbing people with a needle? That would be cool!

Just as long as he doesn’t drink the blood, which if he did would likely mean that he’s a vampire and thusly he couldn’t travel to Gilroy.

    GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!!

When I was in high school, we had a blood drive. One of my friends went to give blood. When it was her turn, the phlebotomist missed her vein three times. Frustrated, my friend took the needle away from the nurse and stuck it in her vein herself. She was a candy striper, but she also had a nasty bruise on her arm for a week or so.

    Go Quakesfans!!
