I scrolled through all the NWSL coaches on FotMob. Many of them are around 36 years old, male, and with little head coaching experience at a top-level team. There are a few European coaches and they tend to recruit European rosters. A couple of rosters are heavily USA, such as Vlatko’s.

Males in their mid-30s, checks out. But the fans are clamoring for a female coach, and I'd imagine the owners might also prefer that, assuming they can find a good match.

I would be very surprised if she wanted to take on that job, and expect she was asked about it already.

I really don’t understand why it’s so hard to find a female coach.

That's a question for the ages. It's the kind of thing I heard a lot as a kid ("no one wants a female boss/director/coach") but no one would dare say aloud now, even if they still believe it. But I'm thinking that the founders and Sixth Street can probably get past that.

Not sure if it has been discussed yet but I may have missed it and there is nothing online....

Does anyone know if PayPal Park going to host the annual Enchant Christmas event, which features the world's largest Christmas light maze?

It’s currently listed to only be held in Los Angeles and Las Vegas this year.

I wonder if this has anything to do with Fish having the team for sale and not wanting to commit to usage of PPP? Seems like something he could easily negotiate into a deal though if he wanted to. I doubt we'll have a sale announced by Christmas, but you never know...

The sale of the club and the stadium could come come after Xmas or the first of the year.

I doubt a sale will be announced before or by Christmas.

It will likely happen later rather than sooner but the decision to hold the Christmas thing at PPP had to have been made a while ago for planning purposes, and the uncertainty around when the sale might happen might have been enough to pass on it this year.

I remember when they made the "Big Announcement" of signing the great, Jesse Fioranelli, it was in In January 2017.

The Quakes thought they were getting some type of crackerjack GM and wanted to make it huge news at the beginning of the year.

At that point, I think the deal to hire him was already in the works long before then.

Enchant Christmas moves around. I think people are just making up reasons and reading into this for no reason. (not a surprise here quite frankly.)

It's been in: Vancouver, Dallas, Seattle, Washington D.C., Tampa, Sacramento, Scottsdale, Nashville, St. Petersburg, and Milwaukee at least.

Make sense to move it around because it's not something you probably want to go to repeatedly. It's kind of like how snake oil salesmen go from town to town. Once the ruse is up, it's on to the next place.

So three consecutive years has Enchant Christmas and they are done?

That doesn't sound all that coincidental to me.
