I'm so bummed Park has retired but I'm so happy for him. He has achieved the most out of any asian footballer out there and it came through perseverance, hard work, and commitment... something that is rare to see these days. He was the main reason why I started to follow the KNT as an outsider and still is one of my biggest inspirations as he's a true underdog who has fought against all odds. Now that he's happily married to a stunning woman, I hope he becomes something greater for the KNT. I'm not sure if I'd want to see him as a NT coach just yet (we all know what happens to those who command the NT... it's almost like a curse), but I'd love to see him get involved in the development of football in Korea so that it can further develop as a powerhouse like it did in Belgium.
