I had to do this just so I could vent about one particular columnist in the LA Times. TJ Simers. Well, for starters he hates soccer. But so do a lot of others. It's SOOOO much more than that. Remember the student who incessantly asked lame questions right after the teacher told the class that she might let everyone out early? Yup, that's him. And remember the kid who would try to intrude on a group that was really on a roll with funny jokes, and then Mr. Intruder would utter some non-sequitur and the conversation would immediately evaporate. Yup, that's him. All he can write about is baseball, the Kobe Bryant saga, lame put downs of his daughter or the sports editor, Bill Dwyre, and smart-aleck responses to emails from disgruntled readers. I apologize for not boring everyone with a sample of his writing, but please, someone else in LA, run with this. I know there are no shortage of obnoxious writers out there. Go for it!
