It's a new month, and another time to worship Clint Mathis and his .995 scoring avg. for the nats.

Clint Mathis turned my Aquafina into Bud Light. It tasted better as Aquafina.

  3. he turned my piss into mountain dew, but i wasn't going to give it a try... so i gave it to clint, he never said how it was, he just drained it and slammed a few shots right afterwards and then passed out in my room mate's puke

As usual, I provoke the most thoughtful, intellectual conversations on Big Soccer.

    important question concerning clint

so, when is clint going to ditch the mohawk? not that it's a bad look or anything, it's just that mohawks are so last summer. i'm thinking he should try to revive the mullet next, bring it back to the trendy status it so deserves. who's with me here?

  6. yeah

It's pretty difficult to stimulate intellectual conversation when all you do is opine for the Almighty Clint..

How many threads do we have to see about Mathis before any and everyone on BS knows that you are clearly a Mathis fan and will do just about anything to let people know that you are..

Clint is a special player, no doubting that, but he could be oh so much more if he would just dedicate himself to being the best he could be, which goes for all of us I would think...

Like, oh my Gawd! That mohawk is sooo 2002!

If Clint is God, then the Metros are now officially atheists.

    Clint Mathis = Claudio Reyna

Six of one, half a dozen of the other.

Each has been called the single "irreplaceable" U.S. player. Neither irreplaceable player actually played in the biggest U.S. game of the Cup -- the match vs. Portugal. The U.S. won anyway.

For the rest of the Cup, one had a goal and one had an assist. Neither was bad but neither was as important as McBride, O'Brien, Sanneh, or Friedel.

Both their teams are terrible. Both players like to collect prettily colored cards, yellow and red.

One's from Jersey, the other plays in Jersey.

That would be about cover it. I figured you'd appreciate the comparison.

All joking aside it be best for everyone if clint returned to his 2001 status or even better, the metrostars, the league and the national team.
