TBH, I didn't think that highly of him. I thought his success in Next/Pro was mainly due to his size and strength advantage, particularly when playing against scrawny 17 year old kids, and that in MLS that advantage would melt away against bigger players. Also, skill wise, he doesn't seem great to me. Blew lots of finishes last year. But Bruce seems to like him well enough. Honestly we badly need another #9. One thing I've noticed about Bruce is that he seems to like bigger, stronger players. Judd - in, Vieira - in, Hernán - out, Josef - out, Beau - out later last season (Bruce said he was getting pushed around too much), etc. Guys like Niko and Buck have sturdier builds than guys like Medina and Mendoza. Niko, Buck, - in, Medina, Mendoza - out.
Well, Bruce resigned Judd, his first signing, when 99% percent of fans wanted him sent to the cornfield....and imo, Bruce provided enough training/support to turn him into a serviceable player....Adimabua,, in the limited times i've seen him seems to be a more intuitive better all around player than Judd and more athletic. So i think it's a great low risk pick up that might turn out rosy. Give Nonso a year or so under Bruce and i think he'll come through fine.

I'm afraid I'd have to disagree with about all of that except for the size. . I haven't seen much in the way of skill and I'd often get frustrated at the blown chances. He didn't do well against Phoenix.
