Nothing wrong with bringing it up because it’s his dad and brother coaching / playing for another MLS team, and Niko might have interest in playing there if LAG has any interest. It’s not that complicated and not a massively big deal.

How or why is it so difficult to believe?

Niko Tsakiris just turned 19, has a Portuguese-European passport , was just voted the best player of the U-20’s , is most likely awaiting many opportunities and he is supposed to stay with the crap Quakes?

I heard it from some people close to him but even if I didn’t, of course he wants out and why wouldn’t he or any other young player in his position?

I don’t understand the dialogue or reasoning.

That was good by Niko. He showed pretty good speed, something that doesn't really show up in MLS games, and his touch was good throughout his run, enabling him to get a good shot on goal.

 

I'm thinking that Niko will benefit playing under Bruce and his staff. Similar to Cade, I see a lot to like in the middle third of the field, but I need to see more from him in the final thirds in terms of his shooting and creation.

 

There are very few Quakes midielders/forwards to whom this doesn't apply...

 

Plenty of people saying he didn't really deserve it but Tsakiris was nominated for young player of the year
