By the way, he was sent off earlier in this La Liga season. I watched that game and he was wearing the same purple sweater.

 

Looking at La Liga standings, Sevilla is 13th but only 2 points of the relegation zone.

There have been 6 sackings this season alone in La Liga and Real Madrid sacked Xabi Alonso while they were in 2nd place.

Unlike MLS, most Spanish clubs will have already fired Almeyda.

I'm sure he will be gone soon.

 

These are the risks you take when you go coach in a country you don't need a translator in.

 

Wasn't it translator Augustine who got a few red cards for saying the wrong thing to the ref and Almeyda got a pass?

BTW, what happened to the daily updates we got on Almeyda here, to prove that he's an incredible coach?

 

Almeyda is only an incredible coach at AEK in the Super League of Greece.....
