(Accidently deleted my previous post - damn small text screen) My original post @Quakes05 we all saw your post calling me a liar again. Ask him yourself. He's completely ignored you. He told me earlier today he had you on ignore, maybe he unignored you today, but you accusing me of some very criminal things, including federal crimes you should choose your words on a stupid ass forum a little better. I've contacted my attorney. Making false accusations of crimes of that nature should be taken very seriously. He has advised me to contact my local police department. So maybe you should talk to him about that to. I'm sure he'd field a personal phone call from you. Have yourself a great evening. You will be the very first person I ever ignore on this forum.
yes, I don't believe you. and I think beerking can speak for himself if he wants to. but I don't think you've committed any crimes here. try not to worry, its not worth it.
Everyone involved please contact their local police department and also an attorney (I have no idea what is going on)
I was accused of some very serious things such as Hacking accounts, hijaking accounts and manipulating people multiple times. I have reciepts if youd like to see. 05 went off the deepend today.
Can we let it go? This is a gossip board, and -- barring a credible threat -- no one is going to court over anything that's been posted. If you try to file a police report, they will laugh as soon as you exit the room. If you want to waste money on a lawyer, that's your prerogative, but you might as well set fire to your piggy bank. Most of us on this board survived middle school and would rather not relive it.
Can you imagine some other MLS coach being fired BEFORE Luchi Gonzalez? Who would that even be? Brian Schmetzer who has won two MLS Cups? Or maybe Caleb Porter, but then he's won two MLS Cups with two different teams. Luchi has literally done nothing of note in his coaching career.
Every time the tv shows him, his expression is pure panic. I can't think that inspires the players to greater glory.
Is Luchi mad too? Nico Estévez (who's usually very calm/stoic in pressers) gave this impassioned answer to @nathanjhill's question about what he'd like to say to fans who are disappointed with the team's results."They're mad and disappointed that we didn't win. And that's good, I'm mad too." pic.twitter.com/26UMchXuhV— Garrett Melcer (@GarrettMelcer) April 14, 2024
Luchi should march right in and have a chat with Shawlee who's sitting there with an unlimited pot of money and just refusing to sign anyone, like Vela, for reasons.
The Gregg Berhalter coaching tree is sure looking great these days... a soccer genius - Luchi Gonzalez with the Quakes - Nico Estevez with FC Dallas - Josh Wolff with Austin FC - Anthony Hudson somewhere in Qatar
If you want the truth, they don’t want to spend the money for a coaching change and don’t really care about results on the field. they’re waiting for the clock to run out on the current transfer window before they resurface with some vague assurances about summer transfer window. same story. different year.
Coach roulette. Been there, costs a lot of money, brief honeymoon period with new(est) coach, then we climb aboard the express bus to the shitter. How many times have we taken this journey? Six? Seven?
same journey nine times now. that’s why it’s amusing to suggest that Ian or any other coach could make a difference here without major roster upgrades.
By my count we’ve had 8 coaches since 2008 including a couple of interim coaches but not the guys like Ralston who just coached a few games. I consider 1 of them successful because he had a winning % over 40% and was 1 for 1 in playoffs and had us in USOC semifinals. So we know that a coach can make a difference.
I have to say I find the idea that Ian Russell would turn things around quite amusing. Half a dozen coaches have failed, and the solution is... an assistant coach who is already involved in coaching this current team that is historically bad? What a crazy coincidence that the answer to our coaching woes happens to literally be on the coaching staff already, part an organization that has shown over and over that it is totally incompetent at every level... I guess except for one guy?? How come no other soccer teams are aware of this brilliant football mind stuck on the Quakes bench, you'd think some smart team would have already scooped him up if he's so amazing. The alternative is, Quakes fans can't even think of potential players or coaches who don't have some connection to the team, current or previous. We need to improve our defense, some genius will suggest bringing back an aging Justin Morrow. Let's re-acquire Shea Salinas for the fourth time. Simon Dawkins as DP because he was good in 2012 the one season when everyone was good. We need a coach, some well informed person will throw out names like Yallop and Kinnear. Surely Luchi will succeed, after all he started out his playing career with the Quakes! And if/when Russell fails, Leitch can take over as coach-GM, and when that doesn't work, why not give Wondo a shot. Maybe it's because 90% of the people here literally watch no soccer outside of Quakes games... it's all they know. Apply Occam's Razor if you're unsure which one it is... Edit: LOL way to prove my point We suck in part because Leitch failed to bring in a DP attacking midfielder, let's give him the coaching job as well
