Ok I was wrong. The Detroit Lions don't suck. Not since Joey Harrington became the starter. He is 2-2 and that's only cause the Lions defense sucks, the Lions can move the ball at will with Harrington at QB. What's most impressive about Harrington is that he runs the 2 minute drill in come-from-behind situations almost as well as anyone. I think the Lions have the next big thing on thier hands.

I have to admit that I was one of those folks that wished Millen had gotten his way. At the time, I thought the Harrington pick looked pretty stupid (for example, the defense really does suck obviously needs help). I'm still not so sure what's happening in Detroit wouldn't have happened without Harrington, but he's starting to convince me.
Heard nothing but nice things about JH. Reeks of confidence, and apparently, it's rubbing off on some of the players. Good for him. Only if Barry Sanders was on the team. That would make the Turkey Day game more exciting to watch!
The kid is absolutely the Real Deal. One month into his (hopefully ten year) tenure as Lions QB, Harrington jerseys are the #4 selling NFL replica jersey in the country. Not to get too far ahead, but this year's Rookie of the Year looks to be between Harrington, Julius Peppers, and Donte' Stallworth of the Saints.
Do you guys have any clue what player Millen was talking about when he called the player a devout coward?
No one is quite sure, only speculation. I've heard Scotty Anderson (WR), Robert Porcher, and a couple other names. The consensus pick seems to be Luther Ellis, though, from what I can gather. He had an excellent game yesterday, so maybe Millen's comments worked.
