Hands down, the best striker in Korea to ever play the game in my eyes.

    #18 - Hwang Sun-hong

1990 Italy World Cup Asia Qualifying Rounds: 7 goals
Bundesliga II: 16 goals for Wuppertal
1994 USA World Cup: 1 goal against Germany
1994 Hiroshima Asian Games: Top scorer with 11 goals
    1995 K-League: Scored in 8 consecutive games
1996 Asian Cup: 3 goals in 4 games
    1999 J-League: Top scorer with 24 goals
2001 Confederations Cup: Bronze Ball Winner
2002 Korea/Japan World Cup: 1 goal against Poland

Played total of 103 games for Korea and scored 50 goals.

You mean during the clip, right?

    Paraphrased...

"'Ah... that is freedom and that is experience'. When Sun-Hong hyung came to embrace me, I began wonder: When i get to be around his age, would i be able to do the same? I normally am someone who doesn't cry much. My tears... they just couldn't stop running"

His goal ceremony during the Korea vs Poland match was dedicated to his wife. i forget exactly, but i remember reading Hwang Sun-Hong recounting that goal as a present for his wife. He asked her, "What would you want if we win our first match". She replied, "i want a goal"

He overcame a lot of obstacles and hardships in his personal life through football and his last goal for Korea, that beautiful goal in the Poland match (and his 50th for Korea) was a fitting conclusion to his legacy

Heo Jung-moo has 'promoted' Hwang from reserve team coach to first team assistant manager for the 2006 season. He did a pretty good job with the reserve team last year, winning the southern league section before losing out to Bucheon (eventual champions) in the playoff semi-finals.

I am the new Hwang Sun-hong. I will score in the World Cup and overshadow his name. I wish that prominent rookies in the future will be dubbed as the 2nd and 3rd Lee Chun-soo instead of Hwang Sun-hong. I am the greatest
