10th is about where I predicted the Quakes would end up (9th or 10th). We're already there! Actually even our 7 points is a little inflated over form because we have a 2-game deficit in road vs. home games. You're supposed to win your home games, and you usually lose your road games.
We're primordial goo right now...I think we'll look noticeably different after the summer window...just need to keep somewhat close to the line in the first half of the season...ups and downs and growing pains...need the young defenders to integrate.
Yes it is, it's 2/3 of the way through the season... but the winter transfer window is STILL OPEN for three more weeks (Friday, January 31 to Wednesday, April 23) so the Quakes could add players RIGHT NOW if they wanted to, they don't need to wait until 2/3 of the season is over. Other teams are still adding players, Chicago just signed a U-22 initiative player the other day 1907088536207020523 is not a valid tweet id
I hear you...but I doubt Bruce will move that fast. I'll bet he has a pretty good idea right at this moment what he needs and who on the roster might not pan out...but he's a players coach and he'll give guys ample time to either shine or play themselves off the roster. We still have a ton of guys that don't move the needle that much...need to clear out more roster space...
Yeah, he's already made that clear. Let's see where we are in June / July. He's mentioned a few times that there's a lot of flux in the league right now, teams going up and down week to week. That is especially true of our team, where Bruce is trying different stuff to see what's gonna work. He's still well into the "figuring it out" stage.

He didn't look ready to play based upon his minutes with Sac. Also, I don't like him out on the wing. Get's lost...

It could imply a few different things. The transfer window is coming up though and he is seldom used so he could be on his way out.
Hernan sent out a tweet last night , a video of him during pre game warmups off on his own ala Tommy Thompson juggling the ball with the caption Aburrido , meaning I'm bored in Spanish. Not a good look.
I don't see them recouping the transfer fee they gave out for him after not playing for most of the year. He's a CAM but Bruce is not playing a formation that suits him so the only option is to play him as a wide forward or try him in place of Leroux/Harkes.
Bruce likes the players he likes, and everyone else, meh. How else do you explain Paul Marie, who has been nothing but a reliable contributor for years?
We could easily morph back to the 3-5-2 and play Hernán as the 10 if Bruce wants to. It’s still 3 in the back, it’s still 2 wingbacks, only difference is that we bring a forward back into midfield. We may use it as an alternate formation depending on game state, opponent, etc. I don’t think the last chapter has been written on Hernán in SJ but time is running out and I could easily see Bruce wanting to move him this summer for let’s say a stud #6 - a ball winner type.
