High time he got into the Hall of Fame (which honors both the college/pro/international folk--instead of just the NBA and NCAA people)... I hope the team gives him his proper due and honors him with something. Best left-handed shot this side of Larry Bird--if only Run TMC could be held together at that time.
I'm surprised that it took five nominations to finally get Chris Mullin into the Hall of Fame. And Mullin wasn't a bad GM for the team later on either , at least until internal team politics eventually drove him away. -G
34-44. The W's defeated the Trailblazers in Portland. Next up: Oracle Arena hosts the Los Angeles Lakers on both Comcast SportsNet Bay Area HD and ESPN HD on Wednesday. -G
GSW up by 5 in the half. GSW is dictating the pace and not allowing us to play Laker ball. Kobe was hot in the first, but has been cold in the second.
35-44. The Warriors defeated the visiting Los Angeles Lakers. Next up: Golden State hosts the Sacramento Kings on Comcast SportsNet Bay Area HD on Sunday. -G
35-45. Golden State lost to the visiting Sacramento Kings. Next up: the final road game of the season at the Denver Nuggets on Comcast SportsNet Bay Area Plus HD (Comcast SportsNet Plus HD on Comcast) on Monday. -G
We split the season series with our Northern neighbors, 2 - 2. How much longer will they be our neighbors.
Real shame to see Ellis go down like that. Heard he suffered a concussion. The man has really put his body on the line night in and night out logging ludicrous minutes over the past few years. I have a lot of respect for the Mississippi Missile. If that does end up being the last matchup in our so called "rivalry" it would really be a shame. Even though the media portrays our teams to be bitter rivals I never thought of you all in that light. I do enjoy tuning in to see you guys play with my favorite moment in recent years being Morrow's astronomical rise to fame along with the one-ups-manship between Ellis and Kevin Martin.
Thanks Rakim! I hope both that Monta Ellis is okay and that the Sacramento Kings remain as the Sacramento Kings. -G
35-46. The W's lost at the Denver Nuggets. Next up: Oracle Arena hosts the home/season finale against the Portland Trailblazers on Comcast SportsNet Bay Area HD on Wednesday. -G
36-46. The Warriors won its home/season finale against the Portland Trailblazers. Next up: preseason for the 2011-2012 NBA season. -G
Perhaps I will if there are some big Warriors news items between now and then, I suppose. Should I wait that long? -G
I thought the owners axed Nelson because they wanted to move into the young slick coach era. Sloan is old school.
Do you mean the old owners of the new owners? TBH I don't know what the new owners will go with. But Sloan's a winner.
