There's a reason Goodyear's parking lot was full and Wheel Works was not. But if you all you're doing is putting air in your tires, OK. BTW there are pretty cheap battery-powered little hand-held pumps. I'm never going to an "air pressure service" again if I can help it.

Well, it was free, so that worked for me. Apart from that, I was a customer at the Goodyear shop with my Honda. That is now gone, and my Bolt has only 6000 miles so engine servicing is not currently a concern. Previously, for many years I had an independent mechanic just a couple of blocks away who was honest, knowledgeable, reliable, reasonably priced. A real gem. He moved and later retired. His work location was replaced by a Jiffy Lube. Finding a good mechanic is not an easy thing to do.

    How is Frank Yallop doing?

I know he was sick but I hope he has recovered.

He looked fine and was very friendly. He recognizes me from having seen me at events etc, but I don't know him well enough to know about health issues etc.

I have a floor mounted compressor in my workshop complete with an air line system and a hose reel that can reach to where I can park my vehicles. Am able to do my own air pressure service.:)
