    You people who were Clash supporters have my utmost respect.

    I live in San Francisco and attended a handful of games each year. But they were so incredibly bad that it was painful. Only out of a sense of duty to the sport did I make the trip.

    Sure, there were the occasional gems. A 4-0 thrashing of Tampa Bay with Valderama comes to mind.

    But most of it was pathetic. The team wouldn't have had a winning record even if they could have counted 5 passes strung together as a goal.

    So here's to you, Clash fans. The Clash s_cked. The Clash fans, by contrast, are jewels. Too bad the league hasn't treated you as such.
