DC Brau's "The Tradition" to be available in cans during the 2014 season, and available for purchase at RFK.
And we get to vote on the what the can will look like: http://www.dcunited.com/news/2013/1...unce-“the-tradition”-limited-edition-beer-can I love that all three options have the home schedule on the can.
This year is going to kill as far as beer in DC (though beer in RFK is still TBA). Breweries & Brewpubs DC Brau 3 Star Chocolate City Atlas Port City Lost Rhino Bluejacket Right Proper Gordon Biersch (new Navy Yard location!)
I hope (and assume) it'll be at the places they had The Public toward the end of last season -- all the import can spots.
DC Brau's CEO was interviewed by Chad Dukes on 106.7 The Fan yesterday afternoon: http://washington.cbslocal.com/audi...he-world/segment-3-dc-brau-ceo-brandon-skall/ They spoke about D.C. United and how The Tradition came to be.
Saturday, they charged $9 for it down at the Corona Cantina or whatever that little bar area is called on the lower level. It was $8 at the regular import can stand. Odd.
That is odd. I wonder if it was still $8 in the Champions Club. Now we just need a few more DMV beers to be available!
I'm not sure if this post belongs here, but it is beer related: http://www.dcunited.com/news/2014/04/brewing-up-more-than-results

On a lark, someone should set up a special deal with Old Ox Brewery in Ashburn, VA considering the run-ins with Red Bull corporate.
I and the SE leadership tweeted with them to see if they want to provide beer for the NJ game at the SE tailgate
Just saw this posted by Goff on the WaPo Insider blog: http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs...keeper-brewmaster/?postshare=8191423771118431 His wife did some excellent graphics for their bottle's labels.
