'Bout time. I've been waiting for Munie to get the national recognition he deserves. On a recent soccerwise those guys who scratching their heads about who Poch could add to the roster at CB if we need one more, and handwringing over some missed opportunity to bring Jackson Ragen into camp.

Munie deserves to be in the conversation...he's quick and has really good awareness...makes good decisions. I would give him a shot over macKenzie. And don't sleep on Roberts, imo, he's about a year behind Munie in his development, but he's a lefty...which is gold.

If Munie was playing in Miami or LA he’d already have been capped.

We had one of MLS' worst defenses ever last year. It's not surprising he hasn't gotten a look yet, though I'm sure he will at some point.

Well also, as Doyle implied, there’s a kind of bias against supposed “late bloomers”, and college guys especially. And we haven’t gotten to the bias against MLS players. The “MLS News And Analysis” BigSoccer people would hate him before they even saw him play. He would be presumed to be lousy.

Bingo. He will be looked at for the next WC. Of course, we will have to go through qualification which is a lot different.

The Mun-man will be 30yo by the next WC. Not too old but getting there. It will probably be his only chance.
