I'm wearing Andy Johnson's magic hat!

NO I'm not, actually: I have failed to score yet this season (but I am a defender).

    Goooo Eagggllleeesssss!!!!!!

We certainly have turned it around, though it will be very tough to get to second and that automatic promotion spot. It can be done perhaps as I feel Sheffield United are going to blow up in the second half of the season.

Any opinions on who we might acquire to fill in the holes at left back and perhaps a midfielder?

Reich's injury is a shame but the return to form of AJ plus Rihilati's comeback to the lineup will surely help tons.

Don't forget if you're in the US as I am. The Reading game will be carried on Setanta Sports on Friday the 20th. If you don't have DirecTV go find a pub that does.

Oh and by the way, who do we have to bribe to get a Palace forum in here anyway? I asked for one last year when we were in the Premiership but was ignored. Clearly, even though we are in the Championship (temporarily!), there are some fans here. Can we get our own forum in the Teams listing? Please?

Word around the campfire seems to be Dowie should bring more out of the squad he has, which he now seems to be doing. A strong midfielder and a left back would be nice, though.
Love him or hate him Simon Jordan has put money into the club so lets hope we play to full potential from now on. SJ has a weekly column at www.guardian.co.uk. It's never boring! The refereeing one got him fined GBP 10,000 (suspended).

Palace are finally playing well now at the right time like they did 2 years ago. I think they will go up in the playoffs this season.

Reading is definitly up. Sheffield United is looking good too although they seem to slip up a bit more often. I think Crystal Palace is the biggest threat to keep Leeds from being promoted this year. I am a Leeds hater myself and I am certainly cheering for Palace. Even if Sheff Utd, do slip up I think CP will move into 2nd place and not Leeds Utd. Otherwise I think CP will take Leeds in the playoffs.

We could probably take the second place spot if things go better than according to plan. We are finally playing better... 5 consecutive wins in the league and 6 in all competitions. Cant wait for Reading on friday (Sky Sports 1). Just bought my ticket in the mighty Arthur! We shall remind them how it feels to lose a game!

    EAAAAGLEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!

I'm not sure about that, but I do know Star Sports are showing it. It should be available through online streaming on PPLive.

    LOL.

Palace fanbase especially in the Croydon-South London area is massive, but i didn't know their was to many abroad.

Looking forward to seeing the Reading game on Sky tomorrow, i always think Reading are their to be beaten but they never do, i thought they would struggle away to Wolves a couple of weeks ago but they went up their and beat them comfortably.

There's loads of Palace fans here in Croydon. Not surprised though... it's the home of Palace.

THFC1 I thought they would win comfortably against Derby few weeks back...but they hardly got a draw. You never know... this will be the hardest game of the season for us, I'm glad we're playing it on a run of 5 consecutive league wins, and I hope I'll be glad all over at the end of tomorrow's clash.

    Come on you Palace!!!

No doubt about that, your from Croydon? I'm about 10 minutes away from Croydon, and about 10 minutes away from Selhurst Park.

I'm 10-15 minute walk away from my house to Croydon centre... and about 20 minute to SP. I live just in between Selhurst Station and Tescos Express. ;)

5th round draw against Coventry of Middlesboro, providing we beat Preston.

    No Transfer Action.

Didn't get anybody in the window, about the only team in the division that didn't. Good luck Mr. Dowie.

What can I say... we needed a good central defender, and a good left back, but they never came. Our play off rivals have all made good singings, lets just hope we keep our place till the end of the season, and maybe repeat the performance of 2 seasons ago.
