Can we all agree not to use chatbots to write our posts? I for one am really tired of reading AI-generated content. I'd much rather see typos and weird grammar.
I've gone one step further. Like Mark Zuckerberg has unleashed "AI-Mark Zuckerberg" to interact with his employees, I've unleashed "AI-JazzyJ" to post on BigSoccer!
Espinoza only played 14 minutes in Nashville's win at Charlotte as they are saving him for the CONCACAF Champions Cup Quarterfinal match against Club América tomorrow night.
Yeah but what about Espinoza? Is he happy in Nashville? Should he take credit for them being in 4th place?
And Espinoza is making key plays virtually every game. He had the winning assist against Miami in CONCACAF, the winning assist against Club America - 1st ever win by an MLS team at Azteca, the winning goal yesterday against Atlanta yesterday, etc. I see some people arguing (mostly on reddit) that the team is better off w/o Espinoza. This is nuts. Yes, we're doing great. But I don't see how Espinoza wouldn't make us greater. It's a good example of the dangers of "correlation is causation".
From: https://www.socceramerica.com/on-a-roll-five-mls-players-to-keep-an-eye-on-this-weekend-6/ Cristian Espinoza has been one of MLS’s truly elite attackers since joining the San Jose Earthquakes in 2019. Now with Nashville after his marquee move in free agency, he’s adapted to his new side instantly, and elevated an already thriving attack into one of the league’s true elites. In 19 matches in all competitions, Espinoza leads Nashville with 12 goals contributions (four goals, eight assists). The Argentine winger carved New England’s defense apart on Wednesday in a statement 3-0 win, setting up both of Bryan Acosta’s goals and running the show. He’ll face off against LAFC on Sunday night, a primetime matchup against one of the teams heavily rumored to be vying for his signature in the offseason. Nashville are on top of the Eastern Conference and looking for another three points against a fellow Concacaf Champions Cup semifinalist. If Nashville is to get the win, Espinoza will be a key piece of the puzzle.
Yeah, does anyone still think we can't use him and that we're better off without him? I think that's a sentiment you're more likely to see on Reddit, as some posters there claim that all he did was pump wild crosses into nobody and made out attack too predictable. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
We could have used Espinoza in the two loses against Seattle and since Timo Werner has been hurt. Thank God the World Cup break will give the Quakes a much needed break to heal.
Time to move on. Is he a great player who would obvious help the team YES Did he truly want to continue with Bruce as coach. NO woulda, coulda, shoulda...water under the bridge...but I have this nagging feeling if we face Nashville at some point down the road, He will play out of his head to rip us.
We can move on but also discuss him from time to time. And BTW we won’t have to wait long to face Nashville. They visit PPP in October.
Yeah we need to make Cristian feel at home. It’s the least we can do. Maybe give him a Chris Stapleton CD as an appreciation gift.
