The Honduran Reserve League and how things ended...

Real Espana finished the regular season as Leaders with 38 points while Olimpia finished 2nd with 34 points while Vida and Platense trailed to finish 3rd and 4th with 33 and 29 points.

But these 4 have something in common...They all qualified for La Liguilla for the Reserve League and they pit the following teams for the first leg and second leg...

Olimpia vrs Vida, miércoles, Tegucigalpa 4.30 PM (Preliminar del Olimpia - Victoria)
Platense vrs Real España, Jueves, Puerto Cortés 4.30 PM (Preliminar del Real España - Marathón)

    PARTIDOS DE VUELA (Return Leg)

Vida vrs Olimpia, sábado, La Ceiba 4.30 PM (Preliminar del Victoria - Olimpia)
Real España vrs Platense, domingo, San Pedro Sula 4.30 PM (Preliminar del Marathón - Real España)

Also Olimpia's Erick Andino finished as Goal scoring leader in the regular season with 12 goals.

Soooo Vida beat Real Espana and Platense beat Olimpia...

First Leg of La Final del Liga De Reservas: Platense vs. Vida desde Puerto Cortes.

It ended up being Vida 3-3 Platense.

Gols from Ruben Castillo and 2 from Arnold Peralta helped Vida keep it level away from La Ceiba.

The reason why Platense always develop good players. You can check out their Cantera games on that youtube channel.

can catch a glimpse of a certain Steven "El Chicharito" Ramos.

    http://diez.hn/Inicio/Ediciones/2011/11/22/Noticias/!Increible!-Eliminan-a-8-clubes-de-reservas

League Officials have eliminated 8 of the 10 clubs that participate within La Liga de Reservas due to not complying to the rule that states "Each team must have a player younger than 17 yrs old play for 810 minutes throughout the whole tourney"

Which ultimately means, Real Espana and Marathon are in the finals of La Liga de Reservas because they're the only two teams that complied with the rule.

Crazy how this has actually worked.. looking at past games.. Arnold Peralta, Rubilio Castillo, Diego Reyes, and plenty more.

Glad this has given younger talent exposure to their senior team managers.
