Once attended a Greenfield city council meeting as part of case. First 40 minutes spent celebrating their Little League baseball team. Distilled Americana. Great little town.

Cool. I've passed by Greenfield on 101 many times on the way to San Luis Obispo, where my daughter lives, and back. Never took the time to look around to see what the community looks like.

You might be thinking of Soledad, down the road, which is also "the gateway to the Pinnacles".

We should try this - cheating via fan inteference. Why not, nothing else is working. Run onto the field to tackle Buonga when he starts making a 40-yard beeline to our goal after breaking our trap, etc.

Yeah, because that’ll truly inspire both the Earthquakes and the County Supervisors to push this project through and to vote yes, respectively.:p

Nobody on the County Board will have a clue, but it will be a nice reminder to the Quakes people that we notice...

Should Fisher be given public land for private use? That's what this vote is about.

Greenfield: I highly recommend the McDonald's for its ultra clean bathroom and easy freeway on/off access. It's usually our first stop when heading south on 101, as it's almost exactly 100 miles from home. Also, nice grassy strip for the dogs.

Why are politicians so stupid? A 25-50 year lease with only 2.5% annual increase in rent. And the Quakes will manage the public fields. Imagine how much that will cost youth teams to rent a field or hold a tournament there.

And imagine if there were a public soccer complex with 8 public fields instead of 4. Would probably increase the number of future pro players from this area more than a Quakes academy with 4 private fields.

    Politicians are so dumb.

It was a little rough making the trip to San Luis Obispo during the pandemic. Restrooms were closed, even at the rest stop south of Kings City (which I think finally opened again after being closed for a long time). My go-to stop is the Shell station off of Canal St(?) to the right of the freeway when heading south in Kings City. Nice big bathrooms, and clean enough. Gas and snacks. Good to go. I've stopped in Greenfield though too - always pretty good.
