I just got my message too, but I started a new thread on it. Please feel free to merge if you think that is appropriate.
Anybody have an update on the SC county vote for the Fairgrounds land use...it supposedly happened yesterday 8/17...
Oh wow I never knew this. I always thought they would utilize the flight paths empty fields south of Pay Pal?

Got excited as I received an email from YouTube TV that they now carry Univision and Unimas. This means YouTube TV should show ALL Quakes games. No more watching on Twitter! Only hope the SAP feature works so I can watch in English.
Someone on reddit says that the woman whom Shea hits on is his real-life wife. I guess that made him feel a lot more comfortable about doing the spot.
"NEWS: All MLS & LIGA MX Clubs to Pause Seasons for Historic Leagues Cup Starting in 2023" (SJEarthquakes.com - Tuesday, 9/21/21) GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
When I heard there would be an announcement today I didn't think it would be this big. I really hope this is successful. This is good for the Quakes as we don't usually (never?) qualify for CCL or Leagues Cup. Now we get a free ride into the tournament and Leagues Cup games are always played in the USA. So this means home games for the Quakes against Liga MX clubs in a game that matters (not just a friendly). I'm sure the Quakes FO is happy about this. I think most fans will enjoy it as well. For the fans who aren't interested in inter-league play this is gonna suck for you. A month long break in the middle of the season and no doubt this will lessen the value of Supporters Shield and possibly MLS Cup ever so slightly.
"Inside the ambitious new Leagues Cup format that MLS and Liga MX hope will add ‘rocket fuel’ to their plans for growth" (TheAthletic.com - Wednesday, 9/22/21) GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
In a few weeks, I'm going to be taking an absolute dream role - leading the marketing team at the SJ Earthquakes. It's incredible to join one of the most storied teams in American soccer history. Being stoked is an understatement!— Tutul Rahman (@tutulismyname) September 28, 2021
For a moment in time it seemed the stars had aligned and I could finally watch ALL Quakes games with my YouTube TV subscription. I should have known it was too good to be true. Today I learn that YouTube TV is very likely to drop all NBC related channels. Which of course means it will be next to useless for watching Quakes games. If this actually happens I will save myself $65 a month as I primarily use YouTube TV to watch the Quakes. However, I have no idea how I will watch the Quakes at that point as I don't plan to subscribe to cable ever again. https://tv.youtube.com/learn/update/
Man, that's brutal. youttubetv had been money for me for most of the last year. I see that the Seattle game is listed as available. Last Saturday's game is listed as unavailable. Vancouver game in Vancouver - unavailable. Beyond that availability is listed as "TBD".
