OK, so they delayed it, as I predicted, but only by about a month or so. I think they should have delayed it one more month, to give a better chance for more people to go to the games. But it might have been a compromise with the players - not wanting to have too compressed a schedule again or to have it go too late in the year.

 

I think right now the odds are about 50/50 that there will be a lockout. Given that, moving the schedule back a month may be a negotiating tactic by the owners - allowing them to play hardball with the MLSPA and still get in a full season?

We’ve seen this before with the PSRA lockout. The single-entity structure is totally anti-competitive...

Agreed! Very nice indeed!

 

The away kit is fine. The secondary red kit is basic but ok. Somehow ‘jester’ is the first thing that comes to mind with the primary home kit. PS: No Quakes are clowns jokes please

 

The mockup looks better than what we have now.
