I actually watched the draw......and then the post draw show.....(shows how bored I am)....only Quake positive I heard out of it was that Matias seems to know how to coach a team through a tournament type format. They cited his Chivas team doing well in tournaments.....other than that.....not a lot of Quake news coming out of it.....

I got a response from my rep Andrew, confirming that I am on the list of people requesting a refund for unplayed home games. We did not choose to get a 2021 credit because we’re thinking MLS could fold by 2021. We’re already probably losing > $6,000 to Equinox. We had just renewed annual membership in Feb. Since 24-hour Fitness has declared bankruptcy, I assume Equinox is close to that too.
Thanks MJ! I just wrote our rep Audie to see about getting on this list. I hadn't considered the possibility of the league folding, but worst case I guess it could. Looks as though all the 24-hour Fitness gyms on the peninsula are staying in business, but I would expect most gyms to be a casualty of the shutdown, along with movie theaters. I hope if Equinox goes, you get most of your money back.
Hello, I'm helping a popular newspaper in Estonia, Eesti Ekspress, get more information on how some San Jose Earthquake fans use Estonian flags at home games. Estonians are thrilled to see this _ and are interested in learning more about it. Does anyone know more about this phenomenon? Is there anyone at a fan club who can talk to me about this? If anyone on this forum knows more about this and can let me know, that would also be great. Also hoping to get some photos of fans waving the flag. Post here. I can also be reached at Michael.Tarm@gmail.com and at 312 203 8620. I'd be grateful for any information, including who to reach out to. Here are some of my questions: Any idea how this practice of waving Estonian flags started or who started it? Is the practice associated with one particular fan club? Why are the flags sometimes flown upside down _ with the white on top and the blue on the bottom? Is that closer to the team color scheme? Are most fans aware of the flag being an Estonian flag? (Perhaps some just think of it as the team flag?) Any idea where people get the flags? Are they sold anywhere in San Jose? Thanks so much.

That's quite a schedule, games every three days and lots of travel. Anyone heard about refunds, while I'm sort of on the subject?
Um, who else thinks this is crazy? I could see them playing eight or ten or even twelve games, but regionally. You're not going to put a season together, this is just "we're going to play some games and try to be entertaining." There's no way anyone will see a 2020 Champion as legitimate. This is going to be an asterisk laden season. This is crazy, and it could result in lots of people getting sick. F@#$ me! Go Quakes!! Go Quakesfans!! - Mark
It may become a mess, but, clubs are required to take a bus or a charter flight for the games, so that will reduce the risk. The Premier League just finished up playing about 10 games (each team) so it will be interesting to see if any players/staff ended up testing positive during that period.
Presumably when they are home, they are going about their day-to-day business, their families interacting with others. The tests aren't that reliable (see, for example, Governor DeWine). It might be ok. It might not be.
