there was no way to know that and to the lead up, he was in decent form. it is what it is...but them Augsburg boys...they were a waste of spaces.

"we're really gonna miss KSY when he's gone"
"we've taken his quality for granted"

KSY's career should have been filled with ruben neves-esque long balls instead of non-vertical tidy short passes

the last two or so league matches he seem to find his old self to some degree...was not great but not too bad. I'm just glad that we can let him be and find the next.

...speaking of next, do we have any other promising prospect for CB? since KMJ looks like he may end up in dead end road?

Wait i’m out of the loop here and also on my phone. Ki just randomly retired or his injury is preventing him to participate rest of the Asian Cup?

Who's better than Ki even in shitty form anyway?

Everyone predicted that AC will be Ki's last tournament bf his retirement, but he didnt officially say he will retire after it even tho he hinted it multiple times. In fact, he said he wanted to retire after the WC, but he didnt (couldnt).

Ki was always an attention-whore and he still is. He's not retiring, LOL.

It looks like Ki's retiring if you ask me.

Can't see your pic. But, why do we have to learn about anyone's retirement from Cha? Who is Cha? And why does Ki have to be some gwanjong? If he wants to retire, why not just...announce it, instead of posting some shite about his god on instagram? The preview was already given a number of times and it's beginning to sound like the boy who cried wolf.

Then again, I really do eagerly await his retirement.

It's nothing of a confirmation, just Cha who is obviously a good friend of Ki's (Celtic), who says Ki did well. I understand your point but maybe there is some kind of story behind the curtains (like the KFA who forbids him from retiring or something). Anyway, I guess the official retirement will be announced soon.

Obviously because of AC. He prob doesnt want to stir the media with his retirement. He will surely announce it after it if he's retiring.

Something has to change. China has been poaching literally every single promising CBs we had in the past 6 years or so. Every single CB did not ever reached their potentials. It will continue to happen in the future. Our NT will stay stagnant as long as the CSL has money.

announcing retirement (indirectly or directly) with the tournament still going on is next level stupid. why throw another bait to drama seeking audience/journalists

Btw, KSY turned down a 40m per yr transfer to China bc he felt responsibility as the captain of Korea.
